Today, music creation platform Splice has announced a first-of-its-kind partnership with Spinnin’ Records to launch a new sample label exclusive to Splice Sounds, called ‘Spinnin’ Sounds’. Over the course of 18 months, Spinnin’ will release sample packs with major artists as well as genre packs curated by Spinnin‘s A&R team. This unique partnership between Splice and Spinnin’ Records is the first time a major label has launched a sample business, opening up new revenue opportunities for a label with access to artists, high quality content, and a producer user base.
The first sound pack being released today is indicative of Spinnin‘s most popular genre: Big Room. Recognized by its heavy kick drums, super saw synths and melodic drops, the sample pack is filled with drums and samples which are widely used within the Big Room genre. The pack also includes various FX, multiple presets for Serum, MIDI files, melody loops and synth shots.
The pack will be accompanied by a tutorial video created by Spinnin’ Records which is going to tell you exactly what can be found in the sample pack and gives tips and tricks on how to make your production sound great!
