Still Waiting To ‘Jack Your Body’ With Oliver Heldens & Firebeatz!

The 2015 edition of Ultra Music Festival in Miami brought us a really interesting track played by the then Ultra mainstage debutant Oliver Heldens titled ‘Jack Your Body’. It surely was one of the most anticipated IDs back then because it garnered some heavy support from the scene’s heavyweight names, such as W&W who also played the track at the same stage and also played it at Tomorrowland Brasil.

Oliver Heldens also debuted his brand new studio name called HI-LO and many speculated that the track would’ve been released as the debut track for the new alias. Firebeatz were also mentioned as the tinkerers behind the track. Surprisingly the ID was never released as intended and instead Oliver Heldens and Firebeatz released another future house offering called ‘Lift Me Up’ with the blissful Carla Monroe on the vocals.

The track starts with an uplifting bouncy feel which is accompanied by the alluring melody which makes the track extremely suitable for underground club life and also the biggest mainstages on the planet. After a brief buildup, the drop hits with immense force and also has some big room elements in itself.

As both acts progressed onwards with their respective musical styles the reason behind the cancelation of ‘Jack Your Body’ still remains a mystery to this day. Though, the hype around the track is slowly building up again since Dutch alumni Dannic played the track in his Untold 2019 set. We fans can only get our hands together and hope for the release.
