The past week has been a great time for DJs and producers with the introduction of Serum 2 as well as Apple Music becoming integrated with several major DJ software’s. Weighing in on this already fantastic week, STMPD RCRDS have now dropped a preset pack for Serum 2.
11 years after the release of Serum, Xfer Records have released Serum 2 which builds upon one of the most popular soft synths ever. Featuring a series of new FX, an additional oscillator, a new pattern mode for the arpeggiator, and several other excellent new features Serum 2 is already making waves in the producer community. This awesome update also features an array of amazing new presets to level up your music which STMPD RCRDS are now adding to.
This pack from STMPD RCRDS includes 10 ambience presets, 5 arp presets, 20 bass presets, 10 chord presets, and 20 lead presets. These presets have been inspired by the work of some of the STMPD RCRDS artists and cover a wide range of genres, so they’ll be useful to just about all producers.
Some producers feel guilty for using presets, but even the master of sound design Brooks has given the advice of making use of them and getting creative, so this pack is certainly worth a look. The offering of these presets is yet another gift for all producers out there to dig into and start blending into their tracks.
