2020 has emerged as the stand out year for the very talented producer Subrinse. He opened the year with the awesome remix of ‘FOTW’, and then followed that up with an impressive string of releases. Making sure he closes out the year in style, he has appeared alongside Nicholas Latiff on remix duty for ‘Discussion’ by Eddy Niz. Brazilian/Colombian artist Nicholas Latiff has also had an impressive calnder year, treating us to killer releases such as ‘How You Feel’ and ‘No Turnin Back’. The now Nashville-based producer always loves to incorporate groovy basslines that take centre stage in his productions and the combination between him and Subrinse on this latest remix is a match made in heaven.
The two producers decided to take this original hip hop/rap single and flip it on its head. Subrinse and Nicholas Latiff add groovy basslines and rhythmic samples into the mix which turn it into a true house anthem. They incorporate some techno sounds into the mix but use them in a unique way which blurs the lines between genres. A massive way to end 2020, we can’t wait for another possible collaboration from these two artists.
