After what was a highly anticipated return that somehow turned into a number of luke-warm performances across the world, Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso, collectively known as Swedish House Mafia, took their touring boots off and headed back into the studio. Leaving their social media pages untouched for a number of weeks, fans of the Swedes have been expecting new music for months now, or at least announcements that the music would be coming soon but that is not the case.
However, as it seemed the touring was over, an announcement came relatively out of nowhere that the infamous trio would be performing at Diriya Season in Saudia Arabia. Diriya Season is a set of international sports and entertainment events at a UNESCO heritage site in the birthplace of the Saudi Kingdom [source]. It has yet to be revealed whether this will lead to a number of performances from the trio across the world or a once-off show before they head back into the studio.
