When the trio split up in 2013, the dance music world clamored right away for Swedish House Mafia‘s return. Delivering hits such as ‘Don’t You Worry Child’, ‘One’, ‘Save The World’, and ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’, Swedish House Mafia became a household name both in and outside the dance music world. Flash forward to 2018 and we would see the triumphant return of the group at a special set to close out Ultra Music Festival in Miami.
Since then the trio has gone on to deliver a brand new album and play some killer shows across the world. It hasn’t come without its hiccups, however, as cancellations started to happen during their first set of shows in 2019. Flash forward to 2022 and the same things seem to keep happening as the trio canceled multiple shows as part of the North America leg of the ‘Paradise Again’ tour. It was not an exclusive situation for North American fans as the trio would continue to cancel shows in Europe, with Vienna, Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg, and Tampere all falling victim.
Now after playing to a sold-out crowd in Milan yesterday, the trio took to Instagram to announce the cancellations of shows in Zurich, Krakow, Prague, Cologne, and Munich. Citing problems to equipment during the load out, Swedish House Mafia will be unable to perform but will continue their tour in Antwerp on October 29th. With the Zurich show taking place today (19th), this has left a lot of fans unhappy and angry at how the Swedes have gone about it.
