Last year, Swedish House Mafia broke their 9-year old hiatus from releasing music, and returned in full force with a number of impressive singles, while teasing the release of a potential album in 2022. The legendary trio’s influence on dance music is indisputable, and their recent offerings are displaying a strong desire for experimentation, something that’s great to see from such an established act.
Swedish House Mafia kicked off 2022 with a bang, unveiling ‘One Symphony’, an orchestral rework of their 2010 club hit ‘One (Your Name)’ alongside Swedish composer Jacob Mühlrad. Not giving fans any time to rest, they just shared yet another gem in the form of an extended mix for their recent collaboration with The Weeknd, ‘Moth To A Flame’. Teased during Swedish House Mafia’s performance at the 2021 VMAs, ‘Moth To A Flame’ has gone on to become a fan-favorite release, and this brand new extended mix will certainly allow it to break into the club scene even more.
