Making their debut in fine fashion, emerging duo swtrwthr release their first single ‘Switch’ on BVSS FVM Records. When it comes to making a first impression, the pressure can be daunting but this duo takes that pressure and thrive on it as they deliver a single that closes out the year with us wanting more.
swtrwthr are an electronic music duo act that consists of artist & music producer John (Jaxan) and artist & DJ Nela, both hailing from Orlando, Florida. Both have been producing and playing music individually for many years but came together to start this project in 2018. Everything clicked and it didn’t take long for them to realize the magic that they were able to create.
Showcasing their style perfectly for this debut single, John brings future bass flavor to this mix with Nela using genre-bending skills to combine some other styles. The combined result is a unique masterpiece that’ll hit you right in the feels. ‘Switch’ is built on layers of melodies and synths and as the single progresses more and more get added but they work perfectly together. The main section of the single comes and blows us away as a high tempo 4-on-the-floor rhythm takes center stage but as the title explains the style switches to a future bass-infused anthem.
The future is bright for this talented group and this is the first of many singles to come from swtrwthr.
