Set in the heart of the historic Art Deco district right by the ocean, The National is a designer four star hotel and one of South Beach’s most perfect spots. Known for its timeless style, it is a luxury setting with one of the biggest and most sleek pools in Miami surrounded by towering palm trees and classy mood lighting. It is bathed in sun by day while epic sunsets add extra atmosphere as the sun goes down. Over the years, it has become closely associated with the Miami Music Week as the must-attend location for the most unforgettable poolside sessions featuring the best international DJs. This year once again, the bar will be raised with five more carefully curated parties in association with dance music’s most exciting brands.
Up first is the always historic opening session on Wednesday, March 23rd presented by forward thinking techno brand Descend. There can be no better way to kick off the week than with this one headlined by top techno duo Pan-Pot, a live show from Giorgia Angiuli, Indira Paganotto, ALX, Gioh Cecato, Xenaa, Floren Gran and Bonilla.
On Thursday, March 24th, it is a celebration of the finest tech house in the world when double Grammy nominated duo and globally influential stars Camelphat present their own Dark Matter party. It will be a fully immersive trip into their unique sound, named after their epic album from 2020. Joining them will be UK hero Patrick Topping with his fresh tech sounds, Canadian Turbo Recordings boss Tiga, plus Polish duo Catz ’n Dogz, and further talents Anfisa Letyago, Doons, Franky Wah and Layla Benitez.
Friday, March 25th is when US house mainstay MK Presents his own special event. He is always one of the main draws in Miami with a warm sound that perfectly suits the open-air pool party vibe. He will be joined by the UK’s Bedrock and Pryda Presents associate Cristoph, plus Will Clarke, Dombresky, LP Giobbi, Kyle Walker, Dillon Nathaniel, Honeyluv and Bryan Estefani.
On Saturday, March 26th Chicago house innovator Green Velvet presents La La Land, which will be a fully immersive trip into the unique world of his standout label. Bringing the soundtrack will be the always party starting Justin Martin and Shiba San, with the likes of Rebuke, Gene Farris, Moon Boots, Nasser Baker, Mihalis Safras and Katrella.
The action-packed week then comes to a fittingly fantastic close on Sunday, March 27th with a final line-up of international talents under the banner of one of the underground’s most revered party brands.
This is set to be a magical week of pool parties in a truly deluxe setting. Make sure you secure your tickets to paradise.
