In a game-changing move set to redefine the Super Bowl experience, Tiësto, the celebrated Dutch DJ and music producer, is poised to make history as the first-ever in-game DJ at this year’s game in Las Vegas. With a career defined by electrifying performances and a string of chart-topping hits, Tiësto’s inclusion represents a departure from traditional entertainment, signaling the NFL‘s commitment to infuse the event with a contemporary musical flair. This revolutionary decision not only acknowledges Tiësto‘s global influence in the electronic dance music (EDM) scene, but also positions him as the ideal artist to usher in a new era of Super Bowl entertainment.
Tiësto will kick off the festivities with a pre-game DJ set at Allegiant Stadium on February 11, 2024, followed by an unprecedented role as the in-game DJ, providing beats during featured breaks. Fans will be able to catch glimpses of the performance throughout the game.
Who is Tiësto?
He is more than just a dance music DJ and producer- Tijs Verwest is a Grammy Award-winning, platinum-certified, international music icon who has been a founding figure in the EDM scene since the beginning. Nicknamed the “Godfather of EDM”, Tiësto has graced the mainstage of every major dance music festival across the globe, has sold over 36 million albums, and has received six Billboard “Hot 100” hits. Over the years, he has crafted countless chart-topping and viral tracks, yet perhaps none more renowned than his rendition of ‘Adagio for String’. Released in 2004, the song swiftly soared to international acclaim, securing its place as a transformational dance music track around the world. Most recently, Tiësto’s 2023 ‘Drive’ album has reached nearly 6 billion streams, and is gold certified but swiftly approaching platinum status in the U.S.

As part of the agreement, Tiësto will perform at iconic Strip venues like Omnia Nightclub and Tao Beach. He is also set to join LIV Las Vegas at the newly opened Fountainbleau property, starting in late January.
A Game-changing Partnership
“Each year, we look to elevate the in-stadium experience for our fans, and with our first Super bowl in Las Vegas, it seems only fitting to embrace the legacy of iconic DJs in this city,” expressed NFL Director of Event Presentation & Content, Tim Tubito. “As one of the most influential DJ/producers who helped define the culture of Las Vegas and electronic music around the world, Tiësto is the perfect artist to help us create an unforgettable gameday experience for our fans, players and viewers everywhere,” Tubito continued.
In response, Tiësto said “I’m excited to be a part of the Super Bowl LVIII!” according to the NFL. “It’s even more incredible that it’s in my favorite place – Las Vegas. Thank you to the NFL for having me. I cannot wait to party with you all at the big game!”
