Tomorrowland’s One World Radio Pays Tribute To Avicii With All Day Coverage!

Exactly five years after his passing, Tomorrowland‘s One World Radio will be paying tribute to Avicii, whose real name was Tim Bergling, this Thursday – dedicating an entire day to remembering the beloved Swedish DJ & producer. Listeners can tune in to hear one of the many legendary Avicii tracks all day long.

At 18:00 CEST, Tomorrowland‘s own radio station will broadcast the Swedish musician’s outstanding Mainstage set at Tomorrowland 2015, the last time Avicii performed at the Belgian festival, in a ‘Relive The Madness’ special. MC Stretch will guide the People of Tomorrow through this journey by telling the most beautiful anecdotes about Avicii.

For those who don’t know, MC Stretch is the legendary Mainstage host who has been a part of Tomorrowland since its inception. He has been the voice of the Mainstage for over a decade, and his show ‘Relive The Madness’ is a celebration of the best moments from the festival’s history.

Avicii was among the first DJs to break through into the mainstream as electronic dance music grew over the past decade and made his debut at Tomorrowland in 2011, playing his smash hit ‘Levels’ for the first time. Unfortunately, Tim left the People of Tomorrow, and the world, too soon.
