Always one to combine power with funk, ‘I Don’t Love You’ showcases the fresh and unique signature style that we’ve come to love from this emerging talent. Creating this single, TONG started off with the vocal and worked from there. As she was a big fan of the vocal and the funky vibe it brought, she perfectly combined it with some funky and soulful synth and samples but it would not be a TONG single if she didn’t inject some power into this one and that’s where it shines. The driving and rhythmic bassline really carries the groove on this single and makes it the perfect single to both open the night and close it in style.
