As we begin Amsterdam Dance Event, millions of electronic music fans are eagerly awaiting where their favorite DJ’s have placed in the coveted DJ Mag Top 100. The results will be revealed live at Amsterdam Music Festival with tons of online discussions following regarding which artists deserved a spot or not. “It’s a popularity contest” claim multiple electronic dance music fans as the main argument against the DJ Mag Top 100. Notable ranking include: Keanu Silva as the highest new addition. Jack Wins rising a total of 62 places into #28. Luca Debonaire falling 83 places down to #97. Avicii, Nicky Romero, Afrojack, Calvin Harris, Alesso and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike placing outside the top 20. Hardwell finishing 14, followed by Martin Garrix taking the #13 spot. Axwell and Skrillex taking #4 and #3 respectively. And finally, Tiesto placing at #2, with David Guetta topping the list with a total unique DJ support of 1,721.
