Top 9 Sets From Amsterdam Dance Event!

Looking back on the recent edition of Amsterdam Dance Event, not many words can describe its magnitude. Welcoming over 450,000 guests from all over the world, with hundreds of events and DJs performing each day, ADE 2022 was certainly one for the books. Having been canceled and restricted during the pandemic, ADE came back and proved just how big it is for the dance music scene. We take a look back at 10 of the best sets during this special week for dance music.

Eric Prydz, Tomorrowland presents: HOLO, Ziggo Dome
Kicking off our list we’ve got the special two-night edition of Eric Prydz‘ special HOLO show on behalf of Tomorrowland. After being one of the highlights of the festival’s iconic three-weekend summer edition with three packed shows at the stunning Freedom stage, it was Amsterdam’s turn and Eric Prydz certainly delivered with two truly mind-blowing shows on October 19th and 20th.

Hardwell, Revealed Recordings Label Night, Hotel Arena
Having teased his return at last year’s ADE with a massive back2back from 20 DJs, Revealed Recordings boss Hardwell finally made his return to ADE with a surprise set on October 22nd. Packing a serious punch with his new techno-infused style, this intimate and special set might have just been his best since his return.

Topic, Amsterdam Music Festival, Johan Cruijff ArenA
Catapulting his career to new heights with massive releases, it was finally time for Topic to bring his sound to the people of Amsterdam, and what better way than making his debut at Amsterdam Music Festival. Opening the festival with a roaring crowd ready for his sounds, Topic brought the energy and set things in motion for an incredible night.

Tiësto, Amsterdam Music Festival, Johan Cruijff ArenA
His only set during the entire week, dance music royalty made his return to Amsterdam Music Festival and he brought tons of energy as we had expected. Playing both old and new anthems, the crowd was loving every moment of it and Tiësto showed us why he has been a main player in the scene for so long.

Afrojack & Nicky Romero = Two Is One, Amsterdam Music Festival, Johan Cruijff ArenA
Sticking with Amsterdam Music Festival for their annual Two Is One showcase, the festival gave us a crazy mix from Afrojack and Nicky Romero. Having already done a set for the AMF 2020 live stream, the time had come for these two to play to a sold-out crowd and they definitely raised the bar. Playing a blend of both their styles, these two artists made sure the Two Is One stayed special.

Nicky Romero, 10 Years of Protocol Label Night, Escape Amsterdam
2 nights before coming together for the previously mention Two Is One set, Nicky Romero celebrated a monumental 10 years of Protocol Recordings with a set during his own label night. Bringing in guests such as Afrojack, Martin Garrix, and more, this set was filled with tracks that showcased both the old and new style of Nicky Romero.

Martin Garrix, STMPD RCRDS Label Night, Club Air
Surprising attendees at his annual STMPD RCRDS label night, Martin Garrix took to the decks 1 night before his set at AMF and delivered a set that was full of new tracks, showcasing stuff that he has worked on along with rising and veteran talents that have found their home on his record label.

Tale Of Us, Awakenings x Afterlife, Ziggo Dome
With breathtaking tracks, and stunning visuals, Tale Of Us‘ set during the Awakenings x Afterlife event was always going to be a major one and it did not disappoint. Progressive music at its finest, with an amazing sound system at the Ziggo Dome along with those iconic visuals, was always going to bring one result and undeniably was amazing.

Solomun & Adriatique, Audio Obscure Finale, The Loft
As if things couldn’t have been closed out better, Audio Obscure put together a 12-hour marathon set by Solomun and Adriatique on the final day of ADE. Set in the stunning venue of The Loft, these two legends delivered a magnificent set from day to night, ending things in fine fashion.
