Traveler is a musical journey created to inspire a positive way of life. The project was founded in 2009 by Zander Trop after visiting Black Rock City and being blown away by the purity and originality of the underground. This experience ignited his creative mission to spread positivity and innovation through music. The evolution of Traveler’s vibrant sound has been refined through years of working with numerous collaborators and constantly seeking out new experiences. Throughout this ever-changing sonic adventure, the core principles have remained the same: To combine the psychedelic bass driven elements of the underground with chord progressions, melodies and vocals that can appeal to the mainstream.
LA based artist Traveler has followed up on his previous releases ‘Close To Me’ and ‘Moruga’ with a stunning collaboration together with fellow American artist Friz. Both styles of each artist mesh and blend incredibly well in this stunning production. ‘Rest Easy’ begins with mellow samples that are quickly joined by some drum sounds and atmosphere synths which set the tone for the remainder of the production. Before long, both artists bring out their melodic side with an infectious melody for the break down. This then builds towards the drop which keeps aspects from both the intro and the breakdown, which tops this single off perfectly. A wonderful melodic progressive track that is sure to please any electronic music fan out there.
