Damien Trax, also known as TraXnCtrl, is no stranger to the electronic dance music scene, having released tons of remixes dating back all the way to 2007. Receiving comments like “clearly there is talent at work here” as he was growing as an artist, fuelled his desire to improve. In the coming years, he has been working closely with vocalists meanwhile honing his production skilled, preparing for future releases. 2020 has now become a big year for this artist as he has released his 4th single of the year, ‘Somebody’ featuring The Uncle Earl.
“This song was very easy to compose but actually it wrote its self. When I received the track from Damien, I was captivated by the tonal quality, energy, and structure. It was crying out to be an anthem.” says The Uncle Earl.

TraXnCtrl kicks off the single with simple yet effective drum work that is paired with a piano playing chords. Setting the tone for what’s to come, The Uncle Earl‘s vocals are then added as TraXnCtrl builds towards the drop. The drop hits with no disappointment as uplifting synths take center stage. Keeping the listener interested, TraXnCtrl keeps adding new sounds into the mix which brings this track’s quality up higher.
