After releasing his debut summer single ‘Highway’, releasing a handful of official remixes, and racking up over 5 million streams across all platforms in 2019, the New York native Tropix begins his 2020 campaign teaming up with the vocal duo Lipp, for his follow up original ‘Closer’. Did we forget to say? A perfect Valentine’s Day release love story.
Shadowing the successful releases, Tropix brought his creative remixing power right into this original production, as he utilized groove-laden sounds and electric guitar patterns throughout the track emphasizing with a heavy emotional, noteworthy guitar-driven drop. He plans this to be his first of many originals this year as he says you should expect a truly unique, unfiltered side of Tropix this year. Tropix is truly in for a big year also just announcing opening support for Nicky Romero at NOTO Philly. Following a strong 2019, the Vegas-based alt-pop duo Lipp, harmonized their way to perfection with this track. Their voices harmonized over the infectious guitars and synths to create a chill, dreamy atmosphere that paints the picture for the storyline of the track. Lipp grabs the attention of the audience with the complimenting combination of their voices with catchy lyrics and melodic flow. Tropix and Lipp team up with Lowly Palace for this very emotional guitar-driven track that will set the mood for a special New Music Friday Valentine’s Day Release.
