Transitioning from one style of production to another can be a tough task. However, American producer Ultra Violet is switching from a trailer music composer into an EDM artist with relative ease. As an emerging artist, he is not pigeonholing himself to a certain genre or style. “I’m not really trying to produce in any one sub-genre. I find it much more freeing to make whatever comes naturally.” said Ultra Violet. Showing off his creativy within the studio, Ultra Violet is following on from several two dubstep singles with a big room festival anthem entitled ‘Tastes Like’.
Right from the start, Ultra Violet makes a lasting impression with an infectious melody that slowly builds as he adds more elements into the mix. He then introduces memorable male vocals that compliment each synth used incredibly well. The track progresses and transitions between each section seamlessly. The drop comes quite unexpectedly but in a good way, as big bass kicks are introduced behind a catchy synths top line. With only his 5th release of 2019, Ultra Violet is proving to be an artist to keep your eye on.
