UMF Unveils Phase 1 Lineup For RESISTANCE!

Following its triumphant return to Bayfront Park last spring which welcomed 165,000 attendees from 112 countries to the sold-out event, Ultra Music Festival is gearing up for its 23rd edition to take place from Friday, March 24 to Sunday, March 26, 2023. Following the festival’s previously-announced Phase 1 lineup, RESISTANCE has now unveiled a stacked roster of house and techno headliners to join the 2023 billing.

RESISTANCE will present some of the world’s most sought-after underground acts across two stages: The Megastructure and The Cove. The Megastructure’s immersive, technology-driven build is the perfect haven for house and techno heavyweights, while The Cove will offer a breathtaking view of Miami’s Biscayne Bay.

As announced in the Phase 1 lineup reveal, Dutch dance music icon Oliver Heldens and electronic music production master deadmau5 will perform under their underground aliases as HI-LO b2b Testpilot in a special world debut.

After Carl Cox initially debuted his Hybrid Live performance in a three-hour, headlining set at Ultra Music Festival 2022, the festival mainstay will once again showcase his mesmeric concept at The Megastructure.

Ultra is known for presenting uniquely curated back-to-back performances, and the RESISTANCE 2023 lineup is brimming with inaugural back-to-back sets; festival favorites Adam Beyer and Eric Prydz will showcase their techno prowess as Adam Beyer ◻︎ Cirez D for the first time ever at Ultra, while Swedish techno icon Ida Engberg and celebrated underground force Maya Jane Coles similarly make their b2b festival debut.

Following the previous announcement of Ultra veterans and Afterlife label bosses Tale of Us as headliners, RESISTANCE adds a bevy of fellow returning headlining acts including fast-rising Italian techno talent Anfisa Letyago, GRAMMY-nominated UK duo Camelphat, German DJ/producer Chris Liebing, Italian techno maestro Enrico Sangiuliano, Deep Moves label founder Ilario Alicante, SolidGrooves label boss Michael Bibi, and a stirring live performance from modern techno shapeshifter Stephan Bodzin. Scintillating brother duo Mathame will showcase their signature melodic techno sonics in their inaugural Ultra Music Festival performance.

Following their world debut at RESISTANCE Tokyo, and subsequent performances at RESISTANCE Seoul and RESISTANCE Bali, Popof x Space 92 Present ‘Turbulences’ will land at Ultra Music Festival for the newly-minted duo project’s North American debut.

The Cove will feature Ultra‘s first-ever stage takeovers by Nicole Moudaber’s highly-influential label, global party brand, and award-winning weekly radio show In The Mood, as well as Dutch legend Joris Voorn Presents Spectrum concept which encompasses club nights, festival stages, and a global broadcast radio show. These two inaugural takeovers join the ranks of Claude VonStroke’s previously-announced takeover by his West Coast-based underground imprint Dirtybird.

Tickets are on sale now here.
