Verknipt Festival Celebrates Biggest Edition Yet

This past weekend, Verknipt Festival 2024 electrified the shores of Strijkviertelplas in Utrecht with an unforgettable celebration of hard techno, industrial beats and rave culture. The two-day festival, held on June 8th and 9th, was a spectacular display of energy, music and community, cementing Verknipt’s status as a premier event in the global techno scene.

Over 25.000 ravers gathered at Verknipt Festival 2024, the biggest crowd ever since the festival began back in 2012. Verknipt Festival 2024 featured four dynamic stages — The Lake, Hangar, Ponton and Bunker — each offering a unique sonic experience. Ravers were treated to performances by top-tier artists and rising stars alike, including unforgettable sets from Sara Landry, OGUZ, DIØN, SHLØMO, 6EJOU and many more. The festival’s signature light and laser shows, paired with immersive visuals created an atmosphere that was nothing short of epic.

From the pulsating outdoor vibes of The Lake and Ponton stages to the intense indoor energy of the Hangar and Bunker, every corner of the festival was alive with the sound of hard techno. “My favorite moments were too many to point out, but I feel that Shlømo’s closing set at The Hangar on Saturday and Sara Landry’s set on Sunday made a lot of impact on the crowd,” Mer Hajbarati, Verknipt’s co-owner said. “The crowd was in total awe and craving more, which I think is really the best kind of response you can ask for. And for those who just can’t get enough, luckily we have the massive Verknipt ArenA show around the corner on July 20th, too.”

As Verknipt celebrates the success of Verknipt Festival 2024, the organisation is also excitedly opening up Community Pre-Sale tickets for its 2025 edition. Verknipt Festival 2025 Community Pre-Sale tickets are available for 48-hours only — from June 10-12 —  €55.55 (excl. tax) for Community Day Tickets and €99.99 (excl. tax) for Community Weekend Tickets.
