As a producer, it is quite hard to take on the task of remixing a popular song, as you may run into the possible problem of changing the vibe of the original too much and listeners may not be happy about that. However, New Jersey native Versus got his on the stunning ‘Next To You’ from Dirty South and gave it a touch of something special. After solid releases on Armada and Black Lizard, while being supported by David Guetta, Dannic, Fedde Le Grand, Bingo Players and more. Versus is heading into the new year with tons of momentum.
As the original is a deep/progressive house style track with stunning vocals, Versus decided to keep some of the original vibe but give it his own touch. He ups the tempo and gives the track a more uplifting feel to give it some extra energy. The vocals take up most of the emphasis on this remix but he combines this with stunning uplifting synths and a running bass line which keeps the energy up. Get ready to hear more from Versus in 2019 as he is set to release on Robbie Rivera’s Juicy Music label very soon!
