Vicetone Drops New Single ‘Waiting’ With Fresh Lyrical Video!

Following on from their highly-anticipated EP, ‘Elements’, Dutch production duo Vicetone have released their mesmerizing new single, ‘Waiting’, featuring Daisy Guttridge, accompanied by a lyrical video. The track is a blissful cross between Vicetone’s carefully curated production and Daisy Guttridge’s cultivating, indie-pop vocals.

Co-written by writer and artist, Amy Allen, who is responsible for pop-music masterpieces ‘Back to You’, by Selena Gomez and Halsey’s, ‘Without Me’, the lyrics in this track unveil emotions of optimism and hopefulness after heartbreak, capturing the true essence of the single. Vicetone’s production layers lively keys over a melodious drum pattern, building the rhythm of the track to a booming drop. Paired with the dynamic vocal talents of vocalist Daisy Guttridge, ‘Waiting’ is a natural and powerful production between the three artists.

‘Waiting’ marks Vicetone’s first release after their highly anticipated EP, ‘Elements’, which has garnered over 20,000,000 streams and counting within its first two-months of debuting. Growing up in the Dutch city of Groningen, Ruben and Victor began exploring their passion for dance music back in high school, when the two longtime friends would spend hours making mixes of mutually beloved producers like Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, and Eric Prydz. Since their debut with ‘Harmony’ (a 2012 release on Monstercat), Vicetone began landing gigs around Europe, and soon took on a relentless world tour schedule.
