After bursting onto the scene in the middle of 2020 with ‘Paradise’, London-based artist Zight has been at the forefront of our new music feeds with some amazing releases. With the three releases in total, 2021 was his most productive year but he is showing no signs of slowing down, determined to make 2022 his biggest and most important yea yet and he certainly does that with the release of his brand new single ‘Work It Harder’. Not going alone for this one, Zight teams up with iconic vocalist Chris Willis and rising Italian duo Maximals.
A feel-good anthem in its entirety, for this single, Chris Willis‘ vocals take center stage for the majority, letting his powerful vocals and inspiring message behind them do the talking. On the production side of things, Zight and Maximals paired Chris‘ vocals with the perfect synth work and vibe, giving us an end result that we just can’t get enough of.
Speaking on the collab, Zight said: “I have been a big fan of Chris Willis since I was a kid, listening to his songs with David Guetta like ‘Getting Over You’ & ‘Love is Gone’. So when I finished the demo of ‘Work It Harder’, I boldly sent it to him on Instagram asking for collaboration. It was a dream-come-true moment when I received a ‘YES’ from this childhood idol.”
