Terminal V returns to Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Centre on April 19-20, bringing an international lineup of techno’s biggest names. This year, the festival is making a major move to support homegrown talent by introducing The Secret Stage, a space dedicated to showcasing Scotland’s emerging DJs. Over 30 rising artists will perform across both days, putting them at the heart of one of the UK’s leading electronic music events.
A Platform for Scotland’s Electronic Music Scene
For the first time, Terminal V is giving a dedicated stage to local talent, reinforcing its commitment to developing Scotland’s underground scene. The 150-capacity Secret Stage will provide an intimate setting where festival goers can discover artists breaking through the ranks. Performers include Brad Herbert, Case, Chromatic, Eva, James McArthur, Jardine, Jenn Gunn, Ryan Untitled, and TLO, along with many more who have been making an impact in clubs across the country.
While Scotland has produced internationally recognized DJs, opportunities to perform at large-scale events are often limited. By creating this platform, Terminal V ensures that rising artists share the spotlight alongside some of the biggest names in electronic music. The festival’s four main stages will feature an extensive lineup, including 999999999, Adrián Mills, ALT8, Azyr, Cloudy, Deborah De Luca, Funk Tribu, Kettama, Blawan x Helena Hauff, Charlie Sparks x Parfait Clouds, Dax J, Fish56Octagon, and Patrick Mason.

A Festival Expanding Its Vision
Terminal V continues to evolve with new additions that enhance the festival experience. The Hangar Stage has undergone a transformation, now operating as a 6,000-capacity, 360-degree setup where the crowd can surround the DJs for a closer connection between artists and fans.
Another first for this year is the introduction of a stage hosted by FACE2FACE, a European techno brand known for its back-to-back sets that put artists directly in front of each other, pushing them to interact and challenge each other’s sound in real time. These new stage concepts will sit alongside The Terminal and The Greenhouse, maintaining Terminal V’s reputation as one of the most forward-thinking festivals in the UK’s electronic music landscape.
Homegrown Artists Across Every Stage
Beyond The Secret Stage, Scottish artists will also take on key slots across the festival’s main stages. Names like Jude Bradshaw, Celeste, Dominique, DV60, Lazlo, DJ Susie, and Gallo will be setting the tone before the international headliners take over. This mix of local and global talent reinforces the festival’s aim of celebrating both established icons and those making an impact closer to home. With just over a month to go, anticipation is growing for what is set to be another landmark edition of Terminal V. The introduction of The Secret Stage is a step toward creating more opportunities for Scottish artists within the festival circuit, ensuring that the country’s electronic music scene continues to thrive.
