Whether through his renowned productions, peerless live sets or weekly A State Of Trance radio show, Armin van Buuren is known the world over as someone who can amplify the magic of the moment whenever it’s needed. And that ability is coming in very handy now that the most wonderful time of the year has almost arrived, as the Dutchman just launched a feel-good Christmas commercial starring not only himself but also his own freshly designed Christmas sweater.
Shot in Armin van Buuren’s hometown of Leiden, the Netherlands, the Christmas commercial is intended to give fans the ultimate Christmas vibe. Soundtracked by the Christmas version of Armin van Buuren and Josh Cumbee’s 2017 single ‘Sunny Days’ (officially titled ‘Christmas Days’), the video tells a heartwarming story that gives viewers exactly the right kind of shivers. The limited-edition, super-cozy sweater that stars in the video features either ‘All I Want For Christmas Is Trance’ or ‘Armin van Buuren Is Coming To Town’ on the back, and is exclusively available in Armin van Buuren’s official webshop at arminvanbuuren.com/shop.
“I’ve always wanted to do something special with Christmas”, Armin van Buuren says. “I love how that magical feeling brings out the best in people and promotes kindness in a world that could always use more good intentions. I hope the Christmas commercial will put a smile on people’s faces and that the Christmas sweater will make everyone feel warm and fuzzy, inside and out. I know it’s a bit too soon, but I’d like to wish everyone a very trancy Christmas and a happy and healthy new year.”
