Hoax is a young DJ/Producer from Belgium with a dream to live off what he likes to do. With a huge love for electronic dance music, at the age of just 12 years old, he began to experiment with a bunch of samples and free presets in FL Studio. Many years have passed away since then and he has grown as an artist exceptionally well, even receiving some great feedback from artists such as DJ Licious, Borgeous and Zack Martino. These days Hoax is still everyday behind his laptop, to create fresh new music and is very humbled to reach his achievements.
Keeping his momentum rolling, Hoax treats us to his second release of 2020, ‘Ain’t No Mountain’. This single perfectly showcases the talent and signature groovy and funky style that Hoax has perfected over the past couple of years. An ever-present groovy bassline is introduced within the first 20 seconds and this sets a disco vibe right from the start. As the single progresses, Hoax adds more and more infectious sounds into the mix which brings the funky vibes up insanely high. He then introduces sampled vocals from Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell‘s ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’ to compliment the instrumental perfectly. The production is topped off when we reach the main section, with ever groovy and infectious sound is reintroduced with an old school synthesizer playing a catchy and memorable melody.
