carmo is an emerging 23-year-old DJ and Producer from Vienna, Austria. As a young child, carmo learned how to play the piano at 6 years old. As he grew older, this passion for music grew as he began writing his own little bits and pieces of music which led to him downloading his first production software at 13 years old. Since then, he has been constantly growing with his own home studio being his daily playground, making sure to keep himself busy throughout the years by improving his production skills. In 2019, carmo decided to take his hobby to the next level. He decided that it was time for change and based his career towards making music as his main profession. Opening this new chapter, carmo has treated us to his first-ever release, ‘Not Around’.

With his first single, carmo opens up a new chapter and he does it in grand fashion. The track opens up with infectious vocals that are joined by groovy samples and sounds. As the track progresses, carmo adds tons of funk and soul into the production by using perfecting placed sounds and combining them with melodic bass tones. The track then builds towards the drop which does not disappoint. Powerful, yet subtle bass lines are then introduced as the groove and funk is taken to another level. With this opening track, carmo sets his own bar of expectations very high.
