Today we celebrate the 29th birthday of one of EDM’s biggest stars, Martin Garrix. From humble beginnings as DJ Marty to headlining the world’s biggest festivals, Martin Garrix’s journey is nothing short of extraordinary. Sparked by inspiration from Tiësto’s legendary 2004 Olympic performance, he began producing music at just ten years old — and by 2013, he shook the global dance scene with his breakout hit ‘Animals’. Whether blasting through festival speakers or echoing in someone’s headphones, Martin Garrix’s sound has become a defining voice in electronic music. In honor of his birthday, we’re taking a look at the top 10 most-streamed tracks that have helped shape his iconic career.
