CLRBLND. returns with a fresh, six track EP that blends genres under one unique production.

Although the lead single of the release, ‘Waiting’ is a melodic drum & bass record, the ‘Echoes’ EP takes listeners on a journey through UK Garage, Progressive House and Bass House.

CLRBLND.‘s experimental approach to this extended play is like a road trip that brings fans to the different, atmospheric landscapes of electronic music.

‘Haunt Me’ is this sound trip’s first stop. A UKG record that features the beautiful vocals of Keeni on a moody and rhythmic instrumental. The track’s emotion sets the tone for the rest of the EP, which CLRBLND. states is a reminder that “it’s okay to not have everything figured out in life and to live in the unknown.”

The second stop is melodic house, which is represented through ‘Next To You.’ This song begins with a deep groove, but shows its beauty as it progresses and adds elements that make it a serene auditory experience.

Moving on from the tranquil vibe, listeners will find ‘Always,’ a more energetic song that blends melodic and progressive house in one project. Driven by a bouncy beat and euphoric leads, this third track of the EP is a tone setter for the last half of the release.

‘Give You’ is the fourth stop in CLRBLND.’s sound trip, as well as the second collaboration on ‘Echoes.’ It features TIM LOÇH and focuses on multiple genres at once, with the intro calmly leading into a filthy, UK Garage drop. The song then turns into a colorful landscape with the second drop, that is refreshening the vibe of the production with a more playful and melodic aspect.

The fifth record on the EP is another collaboration, this time with DREAMBAY. The two artists approach this production in a more groovy manner, but at the same time maintaining the emotional views of the ‘Echoes’ EP. Ambient elements like the electric guitar, piano, as well as the stunning vocals, make it fit perfectly as one of the closing tracks on ‘Echoes.’

Concluding CLRBLND.’s sophomore EP is ‘Waiting’, a liquid Drum & Bass track that begins peacefully, with piano leads and earthy sounds such as birds chirping. The record just speaks for itself, taking your mind to a happy place, where everything is fine even if you don’t know it. It brilliantly achieves the artist’s desire to create ‘Echoes,’ giving listeners hope and support through music.

“While anxious thoughts or concerns will inevitably creep up, I hope that listeners will find comfort in knowing that it’s okay to feel that way,” states CLRBLND. reflecting on the highs and lows that people may face.

‘Echoes’ is out now worldwide, on all streaming platforms. Songs available on the EP are also free to download here, giving DJs the opportunity to bring CLRBLND.’s creations to crowds all over the world.

Captivated by the world of electronic music from a young age, and with a passion for writing, I deliver various articles, from news to features and other pieces. My love for music is universal, although it peaks with the progressive house genre, loving the likes of Martin Garrix, Swedish House Mafia and Alesso. Petersky

Released on LVLD Music, ‘Take It,’ is Petersky’s latest record, delivering a deep tech-house sound to nightclub dancefloors. Its rolling groove has the power of keeping crowds on the move, providing a hot atmosphere to ravers.

The bassline is probably this song’s most important aspect, giving life to the production in a fun way, while maintaining the underground vibe of ‘Take It.’ Think of the famous sound of Chris Stussy tracks, but reimagined in Petersky’s own fashion.

Simplistic but catchy, the song can be the highlight of a set. Its punchy bass adds to the funky bassline, while hypnotic stabs join during the breakdowns, tingling the eardrums of listeners.

DJ Madam Filth Returns With Drum and Bass Track ‘Got That Blow’

Las Vegas-based DJ Madam Filth has released her second track on the Dancefloor Mafia label, titled Got That Blow. Known for her presence in the U.S. drum and bass scene, she brings another fast-paced offering that reflects her commitment to building both her sound and her label’s direction.

The track runs for just under four minutes and wastes no time setting its pace. It opens with a rhythmic pattern that leans into familiar DnB territory like quick tempo, tight percussion, and minimal melodic distractions. There’s a focus on keeping the structure clean and the transitions purposeful. Instead of throwing in multiple breaks or sound detours, the song keeps the listener on a straight course with steady layering and repetition.

There’s a vocal sample running through the main progression, acting as both a hook and a rhythmic anchor. Rather than relying on dramatic builds, the track maintains a linear intensity. That choice gives DJs room to use it mid-set to either maintain drive or transition without losing pace.

More Than Just a Single

Got That Blow is not just another release. For DJ Madam Filth, this marks another step in solidifying her platform. As a resident on Vibe 99.7FM’s Bass Nation and co-founder of the Konkrete Jungle event series, she’s not new to the genre or its surrounding community.

The Dancefloor Mafia label, which she launched independently, serves as a space for her to release her own music and to experiment with tracks built directly for the kind of dancefloors she plays regularly. Her style often leans toward straightforward arrangements that favor flow over theatrics. Got That Blow fits into that catalogue clearly.

For Listeners and DJs Alike

This track isn’t trying to reinvent the genre. It’s meant for settings where speed, precision, and familiarity matter. The production is tight, with all elements serving the rhythm rather than competing for attention. For fans of minimal, high-speed DnB, it’s a track that can slot comfortably into playlists or live sets without dominating them.

DJ Madam Filth continues to approach her releases with intention. Got That Blow may not be overly complex, but it’s well-built for the purpose it serves. If you follow her work—or just want a no-frills DnB addition to your library as it’s worth a listen.#
