EXIT Festival Global Tour 2026

EXIT Festival embarks on a 2026 world tour, bringing its iconic energy from Serbia to Croatia, Malta, Egypt, India, and beyond.

EXIT, one of the world’s leading music festivals, is entering a new chapter in its history. After announcing that it will not be held next year at the Petrovaradin Fortress, due to political pressure from the Serbian authorities over its support for student protests, EXIT is embarking on a world tour that will bring its signature festival energy to exciting locations across the globe: from the Mediterranean coasts of Malta and Croatia to the magical Great Pyramids of Giza and the exotic landscapes of India during the EXIT Festival Global Tour 2026.

Dušan Kovačević, EXIT CEO & Founder statement: “After 25 years at the Petrovaradin Fortress, EXIT is now spreading its wings to the world. We aim to unite continents through our festivals and carry the spirit of freedom wherever we go. For us, music has always been more than entertainment – it’s a powerful force that brings people together and builds bridges between nations and cultures. Our mission for the EXIT Festival Global Tour 2026 is to awaken new generations to believe that a better world is possible, and that it all starts with each one of us.”

The announcement of the first destinations took place 50 meters above Amsterdam, at EXIT’s traditional party during the Amsterdam Dance Event, held at the spectacular Crane Faralda.

The first stop of EXIT’s tour will be Croatia, where the Sea Star Festival will take place in the Adriatic gem of the Stella Maris lagoon in Umag, Istria. Over the years, this festival has hosted major global acts like The Prodigy, Wu-Tang Clan, Paul Kalkbrenner, Fatboy Slim, Amelie Lens, and Nina Kraviz, with the next edition announced as the strongest one yet.

June kicks off with a festival in Macedonia, while August brings a festival adventure across several stunning locations in Malta, in collaboration with G7 Events, one of the island’s leading local promoters as part of the EXIT Festival Global Tour 2026.

In October, the EXIT team heads to Egypt, where contemporary rhythms will meet the timeless legacy of the Great Pyramids of Giza. EXIT’s partner on this project is Venture Lifestyle, Egypt’s leading event promoter, known for organising performances by global icons such as Solomun, Peggy Gou, Carl Cox, Anyma, and many others — in front of the pyramids and at other exclusive locations across the country.

November brings two metropolises: Mumbai and Belgrade, both known as cities that never sleep. This will mark the first time EXIT organises an event in India, in Mumbai, a city recognised as the country’s business centre, as well as the capital of Bollywood and entertainment.

For the audience in Serbia, EXIT has prepared something special: the fan-favorite and underground electronic music gatherings at No Sleep Festival, winner of the Best New European Festival award, will evolve into one of the biggest raves on the continent. Belgrade’s legendary party marathons have so far hosted artists such as Amelie Lens, Nina Kraviz, Indira Paganotto, Bicep, Lee Burridge, I Hate Models, Artbat, and many more.

More information about each destination, as well as the rest of the EXIT Global Tour 2026 program, will be announced in the coming weeks.

An aerial shot at Tomorrowland of a massive blue and yellow Swedish flag bearing a portrait of Avicii and the words "One Day You Will Remember" and "Tim Bergling 1989–2018" being held aloft by hundreds of fans on the festival grounds, in a moving tribute to the late artist.

Tomorrowland honours Avicii with the return of a tribute experience, original artefacts, remastered live sets and an exclusive festival collection.

Fifteen years after his first unforgettable performance on the MainStage in 2011, Tomorrowland once again pays tribute to Tim “Avicii” Bergling, the artist who helped shape the sound of a generation and bring electronic music into the mainstream.

THE AVICII TRIBUTE EXPERIENCE

At Tomorrowland Belgium 2026, festivalgoers will once again be invited into a dedicated Avicii Tribute Experience: a 144-square-meter immersive installation celebrating the music, creativity and legacy of one of dance music’s most influential artists. At the heart of the experience is a large-scale LED screen featuring an exclusive audiovisual piece that brings together iconic festival moments, intimate studio footage and personal creative moments, offering a unique perspective on Avicii not only as a performer, but also as a songwriter, producer and musical visionary.

The experience combines never-before-seen imagery, personal stories and audiovisual storytelling from Avicii’s Tomorrowland journey, inviting visitors to reconnect with the artist behind the music and the moments that defined a generation.

For the first time ever, original artefacts from Tim “Avicii” Bergling’s personal collection will be exhibited outside the walls of the Avicii Experience Museum in Stockholm. Several iconic items connected to Avicii’s career and creative process will be on display, offering fans a rare glimpse into his world.

Visitors will also have access to a dedicated Avicii space featuring exclusive collection and limited-edition pieces created especially for Tomorrowland Belgium 2026. Access to the experience is limited and requires advance reservation.

AVICII X TOMORROWLAND COLLECTION

To accompany the tribute experience, Tomorrowland will launch an exclusive Avicii x Tomorrowland collection, available online and at Tomorrowland Belgium 2026.

Inspired by the visual language of sound, the collection incorporates artwork based on sound waves and the Doppler effect, translating Avicii’s musical legacy into a contemporary visual identity. The limited collection serves as a tribute to his enduring influence on electronic music and festival culture.

REMASTERED TOMORROWLAND SETS IN SPATIAL AUDIO

As part of the tribute, fans around the world will be able to relive some of Avicii’s most legendary Tomorrowland performances through newly remastered recordings of his 2012, 2014 and 2015 sets. Available via Apple Music and the Tomorrowland App, the sets have been remastered in Spatial Audio, allowing listeners to experience these iconic performances with a new level of depth and immersion.

A DEFINING TOMORROWLAND LEGACY

Avicii made his Tomorrowland debut in 2011, surprising festivalgoers on the MainStage with “Levels”, a defining moment in his career as the track had not yet been officially released. He returned in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015, with his final MainStage appearance becoming one of the most memorable performances in Tomorrowland history.

Following his passing, Avicii’s connection with Tomorrowland has remained stronger than ever. In 2018, festivalgoers paid tribute to him during Nicky Romero’s MainStage set, when a giant Swedish flag bearing his image was spread across the crowd in an emotional moment of remembrance.

Today, his music continues to resonate throughout the festival grounds, with artists across the line-up regularly honoring his legacy through their performances. His iconic anthem “Levels” has been voted the number one track in the Tomorrowland Top 1000 three times, cementing its place as one of the most beloved tracks in the history of dance music.

EDC Thailand Reveals Stacked December Lineup along with the addition of the Neon Garden stage for its 2026 Phuket edition

EDC Thailand is giving its December 2026 edition a bigger frame with a newly revealed lineup featuring Martin Garrix, Tiësto, DJ Snake, Above & Beyond, Charlotte de Witte, Kaskade, Subtronics, James Hype, Mau P, Vintage Culture, SOFI TUKKER, Green Velvet b2b Steve Angello, and more. The festival will return to Rhythm Park Phuket for its third edition under the Electric Sky from December 18 to 20, 2026, bringing the brand back to the island for another three-day run. Alongside the lineup, EDC Thailand has also confirmed the addition of Neon Garden, one of EDC’s most recognized stage concepts, which appears to bring the December edition to six stages. The update also comes with the return of Hotel EDC at Angsana Laguna Phuket, marking the second edition of Hotel EDC in Thailand and the first Hotel EDC outside the USA. With the lineup reveal, the new stage addition, and the return of Hotel EDC, the December edition is starting to look like a fuller Phuket takeover, not just another festival weekend.

A Closer Look At The EDC Thailand December 2026 Lineup

A post shared by EDC Thailand (@edc_thailand)

The EDC Thailand December 2026 lineup brings the festival back to Rhythm Park Phuket with a broad mix of names across genres such as progressive house, big room, trance, bass music, house, techno, and hardstyle, alongside Thai and regional artists. The announcement features Martin Garrix, Tiësto, DJ Snake, Above & Beyond, Charlotte de Witte, Kaskade, Subtronics, James Hype, Mau P, Vintage Culture, SOFI TUKKER, and Green Velvet b2b Steve Angello, placing several major international acts alongside artists from more genre-specific corners of the electronic music scene. For a third edition, that range gives the lineup more structure than a standard headliner-led reveal, especially now that EDC Thailand is expanding with Neon Garden for December 2026.

The progressive house, big room, and trance names give the lineup its most familiar festival pull, with Martin Garrix, Tiësto, Above & Beyond, Andrew Rayel, Paul van Dyk, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Marlo, Alpha 9, and Daxson representing the side of EDC many attendees associate with large productions, vocal records, and the closing sets expected from a major festival lineup. Bass music and harder sounds are also represented through Subtronics, ATLiens, ALLEYCVT, Hamdi, Andy C, Kanine b2b Sota, Lil Texas, Da Tweekaz, Coone, Darren Styles, and Showtek Hardstyle Set, adding contrast to the three-day lineup without making the announcement feel separated by genre. These names also give the December edition a stronger connection to sounds that have long performed well with Asian festival crowds, from trance and hardstyle to dubstep, drum and bass, and bass house.

The branded stage takeovers also give the lineup more detail beyond the headline names, with Dreamstate Presents, Factory93, Bassrush Experience, and Insomniac Records Takeover helping separate the trance, house, techno, bass, and harder electronic sounds across the weekend. That matters more this year because Neon Garden has been added to the December edition, giving the house and techno names a more natural place within the festival’s expanded format. Artists such as Charlotte de Witte, James Hype, Mau P, Vintage Culture, SOFI TUKKER, and Green Velvet b2b Steve Angello strengthen that part of the announcement, while Thai and regional acts such as Bella Claxton b2b Kyle Starkey, Noise Mafia b2b Afem Syko, RAYRAY, 22Bullets, and Pixzy keep the lineup connected to Thailand and Southeast Asia as EDC Thailand prepares for another three-day edition in Phuket.

What To Expect From Neon Garden At EDC Thailand

Neon Garden gives EDC Thailand one of the festival brand’s most established stage concepts, with a history that goes far beyond the name. At EDC Las Vegas, Neon Garden is tied to Factory 93, Insomniac’s house and techno brand, and the official stage description connects it with deep house, techno, minimal visual ideas, immersive live art, and technology. The stage has also been linked to branded takeovers including Factory 93, Club Space, and Time Warp, which helps explain why its addition to EDC Thailand matters for fans who follow the festival’s stage identities, not only the headline names.

Visually, Neon Garden has usually carried a darker, more industrial look compared with the brighter and more theatrical stages in the EDC format. Past versions at EDC Las Vegas have used warehouse-style structures, metal framing, LED panels, graffiti-style details, shipping-container inspired builds, and a more enclosed dancefloor feel depending on the year. That does not confirm the exact design for Phuket, but it gives a useful idea of how Neon Garden has usually looked across previous EDC editions. For EDC Thailand, adding Neon Garden means the December festival now has a stage concept associated with house and techno history, branded takeovers, and a visual style that differs from the mainstage side of the event.

Why Phuket Matters To EDC Thailand’s December Edition

Phuket gives EDC Thailand more than a festival location, especially with the event being presented through the wider Destination EDC Phuket concept. The island already has the travel and hospitality base for a full festival week, with international flights through Phuket International Airport, resort districts around Bang Tao, Laguna, and Patong, and nightlife venues that regularly host international DJs. For the December edition, that means EDC Thailand does not begin and end at Rhythm Park Phuket, since the surrounding week can include hotel stays, beach clubs, club nights, pre-parties, afterparties, and recovery days around the main festival dates. During the January 2026 edition, EDC Thailand had official pre and afterparties at venues including Illuzion, Maya, and YONA Beach Club, giving a recent example of how the festival can extend across the island beyond the main event grounds.

For December, Phuket gives EDC Thailand a stronger travel story because the island already has the nightlife, beach club, and resort network that dance music tourists look for around a festival weekend. Illuzion Phuket remains one of the island’s best-known venues for large DJ shows in Patong, while YONA Beach Club adds the floating beach club experience and Café del Mar Phuket gives visitors another recognizable day-to-night stop for music, food, and beachside events. Hotel EDC Thailand is also returning to Angsana Laguna Phuket for its second Thailand edition, marking the first Hotel EDC outside the USA and giving traveling fans an official resort base tied to the festival weekend. Between the main festival, hotel package, nightlife venues, beach clubs, and expected pre and afterparties, Destination EDC Phuket has the right setting for a wider December takeover of the island.

With EDC Thailand returning to Phuket for its third edition, the December 2026 festival already has several reasons for fans to pay attention, from the newly revealed lineup and the addition of Neon Garden to the return of Hotel EDC Thailand at Angsana Laguna Phuket. Tickets and travel packages are available through the official EDC Thailand channels, with more updates expected as the festival gets closer. For anyone planning to go and wanting a better idea of what previous editions were like, you can also read our past EDC Thailand reviews here and here before making the trip back to Phuket.

See you under the Electric Sky in Phuket this December!
