While the message generated a lot of excitement among gamers and the EDM community, Fred again..’s exact involvement with GTA VI remains undetermined. Although many believe the collaboration could simply mean having his music featured in the game’s soundtrack, it’s worth remembering that musicians such as Phil Collins, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg have appeared in the GTA series before.

Beyond cameos, GTA V also featured DJs including Solomun and Tale of Us, who performed at the game’s nightclubs.

CircoLoco In GTA VI

GTA games operate an in-game radio system while driving, offering over 20 stations to choose from. Players can switch between stations to suit their tastes, with genres ranging from hip-hop and dance to rock music.

This year, it has been leaked that Rockstar Games will also add a CircoLoco radio station, playing music from the famous house music label that the game company created in partnership with dance party organiser CircoLoco. Tracks that could feature on the radio station include Michael Bibi and KETTAMA’s ‘Mystery Of Raw’, as well as Prospa’s collaboration with Murda Beatz, ‘Baby.’

Other Artists Confirmed For GTA VI

Alongside Fred again.., plenty of other musicians outside the EDM scene also posted similar announcements. Travis Scott, Metro Boomin, Pink Pantheress, Keith Richards and more took to Instagram as part of the same campaign, announcing the latest news regarding GTA VI.

With the game set to release on 19 November, 2026, it is shaping up to be one of the biggest pieces of entertainment ever. Statistics from the previous GTA release show that the fifth instalment in the series generated over $1 billion in revenue within its first three days.

The production of GTA VI is rumoured to have cost around $2 billion, which, if true, would make the game the most expensive single piece of entertainment ever produced, surpassing Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which had a reported production budget of around $536 million.
