Justice join GTA VI as original score composers, bringing their electronic sound into the next chapter of Rockstar Games’ blockbuster series

Justice are officially joining the world of GTA VI as the composers behind the game’s original score. The role takes Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay beyond their usual albums, tours and live shows, while Rockstar Games has also revealed Flower in a Hurricane, a new track featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.

How the GTA VI Score Differs From GTA V

When GTA V launched in 2013, several artists contributed to its original music, including Tangerine Dream, Woody Jackson, The Alchemist and Oh No. DJ Shadow later handled the mixing and sequencing, giving the game a score created across several different contributors. GTA VI takes a different route by placing Justice in charge of the original music written specifically for the game.

That role is separate from the licensed tracks heard across Grand Theft Auto radio stations. Those stations will continue featuring music from different artists, while Justice are creating the score heard during scenes, missions and other parts of the game. Their involvement therefore goes much further than contributing an existing release to the soundtrack.

Flower in a Hurricane Offers the First Preview

Listeners have already heard one piece connected to that work through Flower in a Hurricane, which brings Justice together with Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Rockstar Games introduced the track through the latest GTA VI trailer before releasing it separately, giving the collaboration a life beyond the game itself.

The track also brings Justice back together with Tame Impala after Neverender from Hyperdrama in 2024. That collaboration later won Best Dance/Electronic Recording at the 2025 Grammy Awards, while the album also featured Miguel, Thundercat and Connan Mockasin. Flower in a Hurricane continues that run of collaborations while adding SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard to the mix.

More of Justice’s GTA VI Music Is Still Ahead

Only part of Justice’s work has been heard so far, with Rockstar Games also confirming plans for an official score release. More of the music created by Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay will become clear as GTA VI moves closer to launch.

Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, giving players the first chance to hear the duo’s full score within the game.
