FVDED In The Park expands to three days as FVDED marks 15 years with 75+ international artists across four stages

After more than a decade at Holland Park, FVDED in the Park is preparing for its largest format change yet. The 2027 edition will run across three days for the first time, with four stages and more than 75 international artists planned for Surrey, British Columbia. The expansion arrives 15 years after FVDED first began in Vancouver in 2012, long before it developed into the outdoor festival now held at Holland Park. The full lineup and further details have not yet been announced, but the extra day makes 2027 a significant change from the two-day format used throughout the festival’s history.

FVDED Started as a Vancouver Club Night in 2012

Before FVDED in the Park existed, Blueprint introduced FVDED as a Wednesday night party at Celebrities Nightclub in Vancouver in 2012. The early events concentrated on bass music, including trap, dubstep, future bass and moombahton, before the concept expanded into larger events around the city.

That expansion eventually led Blueprint and Live Nation Canada to launch FVDED in the Park at Holland Park in 2015. The first edition ran for two days and featured deadmau5, The Weeknd, Afrojack, Tyler, The Creator, Flosstradamus, The Chainsmokers, Claude VonStroke and more.

Holland Park Became Home to FVDED in the Park

The move to Surrey gave FVDED a permanent outdoor festival home and allowed the event to grow considerably from its first edition. By 2025, the festival was expecting around 50,000 attendees, compared with approximately 10,000 at the first Holland Park edition. That year also expanded the lineup from 48 artists in 2024 to around 60 across four stages.

Over the years, FVDED in the Park has booked names from electronic music, hip-hop and R&B. Previous editions have featured artists including Swedish House Mafia, Kaskade, Zedd, Tiësto, Disclosure, Kaytranada, RL Grime, Jack Ü, Travis Scott, Illenium, REZZ, Dom Dolla and The Chainsmokers. The festival has also continued reserving places for Canadian and regional artists alongside larger international bookings.

The Festival Has Also Had Several Breaks Along the Way

Not every year followed the same path. FVDED in the Park cancelled its 2020 edition during the COVID-19 pandemic, while the 2021 event took place at PNE Amphitheatre in Vancouver instead of Holland Park. The festival returned to Surrey in 2022 before cancelling its planned 2023 edition.

Its return in 2024 brought Swedish House Mafia, Kx5, John Summit, Dom Dolla, Chris Lake, Diplo, Chase & Status and Zeds Dead to Holland Park. The following year marked the 10th annual FVDED in the Park, while the wider FVDED name was already approaching 15 years since its original club-night beginnings.

Three Days Will Be a First for FVDED in the Park

Every previous FVDED in the Park edition at Holland Park has run across two days, making the move to three days in 2027 the first expansion of its kind for the festival. Recent editions have already used four stages, but increasing the schedule to more than 75 international artists will give the festival considerably more space than its recent lineups.

The announcement comes shortly after FVDED in the Park began teasing its 2027 return through its official channels. As of late October, organisers had not yet revealed dates, lineup names or ticket details. The new three-day announcement now gives the first major indication of how the 15-year celebration will differ from previous editions.
