Hysta Eiffel Tower Set: Historic Hardcore Performance from Paris
Paris, France – October 16, 2025 – In a legendary moment for electronic music, international hardcore artist Hysta has delivered a spectacular 60-minute DJ set from the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. Consequently, she becomes the first French artist to represent hard music from one of the world’s most iconic landmarks.
The Historic Hysta Eiffel Tower Set Performance
Premiering today at 8:00 PM CET on YouTube (@HystaOfficial), the Hysta Eiffel Tower set marks an unprecedented fusion of French cultural heritage and hardcore electronic music. Moreover, filmed at sunrise from Paris’s most recognizable monument, this performance represents a watershed moment for the genre. It demonstrates that hardcore music has evolved from underground raves to commanding the world’s most prestigious stages.
“I never imagined that one day I’d text my grandmother: ‘Hi Grannie, this morning I played on the Eiffel Tower,'” Hysta shared. “At 16, I was playing illegal raves in forests with a crate of vinyls. Today, however, hardcore resonates from the Eiffel Tower.”

Two Years Behind the Eiffel Tower DJ Set
The Hysta Eiffel Tower set took nearly two years of independent planning to realize. Most of the budget went toward venue rental. Meanwhile, a small team of dedicated friends handled all production. Additionally, the crew faced a tight two-hour window at sunrise to set up equipment, record the performance, and break down.
Significant logistical challenges nearly derailed the project. For instance, the day before filming, protests in France canceled numerous trains. As a result, Hysta almost couldn’t reach Paris. Fortunately, her sister woke at 6 AM to drive her to the station, ensuring she could make the shoot. Against all predictions of rain, the weather cleared at the crucial moment. Therefore, this allowed the team to capture stunning footage with Paris as the backdrop.
Born Thaïs Morel in Nantes, France, Hysta spent her childhood between French Brittany and life on a sailboat across continents. Consequently, guided by resilience and devotion to her craft, she has risen from underground venues to the world’s biggest stages. Subsequently, she’s earned the title “The Heir of Hardcore.”
Starting at age 16, Hysta developed a unique style that honors hardcore’s origins. Furthermore, she infuses it with modern, melodic elements. Her performances at major festivals have established her as a boundary-pushing artist. Notably, Tomorrowland, Defqon.1, Boomtown, and Thunderdome have all featured her sets. In addition, she’s brought hardcore music to audiences across Europe, North and South America, Asia, the Middle East, and Oceania.
“My heart belongs to Hardcore,” Hysta emphasizes—a phrase that has become her signature motto.

Exclusive Track Debuts in the Hysta Eiffel Tower Set
For this unique performance, Hysta composed an original track titled “Little Things” to open the set. Specifically, the composition pays tribute to France and its cultural heritage. It reinterprets an iconic song from the beloved French film “Le Fabuleux Destin d’Amélie Poulain” (Amélie). Therefore, by blending this timeless theme with hardcore’s raw energy, she creates a powerful statement where tradition meets modernity.
A poetic teaser announced the Hysta Eiffel Tower set, showcasing locations from Parisian cafés to Sacré-Cœur and the city’s metro system. Overall, the visual narrative captures Hysta’s artistic duality. Daft Punk Lives On: Guy-Man Rumored to Go Solo as Bangalter Returns to the Decks
After years of silence, both halves of Daft Punk are finally making noise again.
Just weeks after Thomas Bangalter surprised fans with his first DJ set in 16 years alongside Fred again.. in Paris, reports have surfaced that Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo is working on his first solo album. French music executive Emmanuel de Buretel, founder of Because Music, revealed in a recent interview that “Guy-Man fait son album” — “Guy-Man is making his album.”

From Robots to Reinvention
When Daft Punk announced their official split in 2021, it closed one of the most influential chapters in electronic music history. Since then, Bangalter has re-emerged through art-driven solo projects like Mythologies and CHIROPTERA — and now, a long-awaited return to live DJing.
Meanwhile, Guy-Manuel has stayed largely off the radar. The recent comments from de Buretel mark the first credible sign that the quieter half of Daft Punk may finally be stepping into the spotlight. If true, this would be his first major solo release since the duo’s breakup.
What We Know (and What We Don’t)
-
Confirmed source: The quote originates from de Buretel’s appearance on France Inter, reported by We Rave You on November 2, 2025.
-
No official details: There’s still no word on collaborators, tracklist, or release timeline.
-
Bangalter’s momentum: His recent Paris DJ set, captured at the Centre Pompidou, confirms that both members are creatively active again.
In short: both robots are moving, just not in sync this time.
Why This Matters
Guy-Manuel’s production style helped define Daft Punk’s signature French-touch sound — from the raw funk of Homework to the glossy euphoria of Discovery and the analog warmth of Random Access Memories. A solo record could finally show what his sound looks like when it stands completely on its own.
Will it be disco-driven and nostalgic, or something darker and more experimental? Either way, fans have waited over a decade to find out.
The Next Chapter
Between Thomas Bangalter’s surprise DJ comeback and Guy-Manuel’s rumored solo project, 2025 might finally be the year Daft Punk’s legacy continues moving forward.
One behind the decks. One in the studio.
Both back in motion — just not together… yet.
