Few can come close to JONN when it comes to having a standout year. 2022 began and was looking like it would be the most important year for JONN and it certainly turned out that way. Having just launched his new record label Blackbox Records at the end of 2021, he was gearing up for a year full of new music, both his own and on his label. Since the start of the year, Blackbox Records has churned out hit after hit, showing no signs of slowing down, becoming one of the hottest labels for newcomers and veteran producers to have their music on. Now as we close out the year, JONN ends it on a high, unveiling the brand new ‘My Heart’.
‘My Heart’ is an energetic and catchy single that grabs the listener’s attention right from the start as female vocals draw us in. As the single progresses, JONN builds tension for the drop and once it comes, we are blown away. A bouncy bassline then takes centre stage, carrying the energy and groove while infectious top line synths top the single off perfectly.
