‘Put ‘Em High’ is the latest offering from one of Ireland’s most exciting artists, Konmak, along with Dublin-based vocalist Sophie Doyle Ryder. This hit is built around the sample of Stonebridge‘s 2004 classic dance anthem ‘Put ’Em High’. Already prior to its official release date ‘Put ‘Em High’ has been supported by the godfather of future house music, Don Diablo, on his Hexagon Radio Show last month. Using the elegant vocals of Sophie Doyle Ryder, Konmak opens the single with atmospheric sounds that build tension towards the drop. The drop hits with no disappointment as he introduces infectious and innovative synths that are sure to grab your attention.
Based in Athlone and originally from Laois, Konmak has been DJing and Producing music for nearly ten years and is one half of DJ duo Konmak x Marty. As a DJ he has played in Ireland’s top venues such as The Olympia Theatre, The Wright Venue, The Tivoli Theatre, Electric Picni, along with worldwide venues and festivals including Pacha Macau, BCM Majorca, Ultra Music Festival Europe just to name a few. On the production front, Konmak made his debut back in 2014 with ‘Drop It’ and he has not looked back since. Showcasing an infectious and energetic sound, Konmak went on to release high-quality singles such as ‘The Hump’, ‘Minutes’, ‘Hit It’, and ‘Front2back’. His latest single alongside Sophie Doyle Ryder definitely keeps this hot streak continuing.
Sophie Doyle Ryder, 17, is an Irish born singer and songwriter. Sophie has sung her entire life, with inspiration from artists like Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande. She grew up listening to a lot of artists such as Coldplay, The Cure, Depeche Mode, and Queen. Malahide-gal Sophie Doyle Ryder released her debut single ‘MOOD’ in 2019. This single ‘Mood’ was a glimpse into her ultimate independence as a female artist. She then released her second single ’ENOUGH’ this past February. Described as a self-empowering non-apologetic breakup song, Sophie’s sound continues to express her independence as a young songwriter.
