N1ckatN1ght Tops Amazon Dance Chart With ‘Love Is Louder’
N1ckatN1ght tops the Amazon USA Dance & Electronic chart with ‘Love Is Louder’, a house and melodic dance-pop single released on October 9
Dance music has always been a sanctuary for those seeking connection, but for EDM artist N1ckatN1ght, the dance floor is a canvas for resilience. Released worldwide on October 9, 2026, his latest single, “Love Is Louder,” has already made a massive impact, catapulting to the #1 spot on the Top 100 Amazon USA Dance & Electronic chart. It’s a testament to the enduring power of human connection, a track rooted deeply in love, movement, and the sheer joy of feeling alive.

Bridging the gaps between house, electronic dance music, and melodic dance-pop, “Love Is Louder” is an uplifting departure from standard club fare. The chart-topping track boasts what the artist describes as a “smooth, sexy, almost Kenny G-like sensibility paired with a house beat.” It’s designed to be soulful and uplifting, a track that delivers euphoric energy while maintaining a deep emotional core.
To truly understand the sonic architecture of N1ckatN1ght’s work, one must first look at his journey.
Finding Belonging in the Beat
“To understand my music, it helps to understand where I came from,” N1ckatN1ght explains. At just seven years old, he and his sister became wards of the state. He spent his early childhood navigating the uncertainty of Michigan group homes before entering the foster care system at age fourteen. It was there, with his foster parents Jeff and Melinda Wood in Charlotte, Michigan, that his musical world cracked wide open.
His foster father, a working DJ, introduced him to a vast spectrum of genres. “That’s a big reason my music crosses styles today,” he notes. “I learned to connect with the feeling in a song, whether it made you want to dance, reflect, or sing along.”
Because a sense of belonging wasn’t something he could take for granted growing up, creating that exact feeling for his listeners became his mission. “Love Is Louder” was born from his unwavering belief in the power of love. “Everyone deserves to feel it, recognize it, and know how to express it,” he says. “With N1ckatN1ght, I wanted to give that feeling a rhythm. ‘Love Is Louder’ is meant to make you move, smile, and feel great. There’s depth behind it, but there’s also permission to simply enjoy yourself.”
A Hands-On Approach to Emotion
For this latest release, N1ckatN1ght took total creative control, handling the songwriting, production, and mixing himself. By remaining deeply involved in every stage of the process, he ensures that the track’s original emotional intent is preserved from the first chord to the final master.
“Being involved in each stage lets me carry the original emotion through the entire recording,” he explains. “Whether I’m working on a worship song or a house track, I’m thinking about how the words and music will make someone feel.”
Triumph, Tragedy, and Billboard Success
N1ckatN1ght is no stranger to industry milestones. His catalog boasts significant accomplishments, including hits like “Believe,” “Ride All Night,” and his acclaimed collaboration with Nik11 on the track “Kickback.” Operating as an independent artist, he secured Universal Music distribution through his work with Tiffany Gaines and saw “Ride All Night” chart for an astounding 128 weeks on national rock airplay charts.
However, behind these soaring professional highs lies a deeply personal and tragic chapter. In 2019, while in Las Vegas shooting the music video for “Kickback” with Nik11, a collaboration built off the success of “Ride All Night”, his fiancée unexpectedly passed away.
While “Kickback” went on to achieve breakout success on the Billboard charts, N1ckatN1ght was submerged in grief, unable to participate in the hard-earned promotional tour. What should have been the most exciting professional peak of his life became a period of profound devastation.
“That experience is part of why the emotional purpose of my music matters so much to me today,” he shares candidly. “I know that someone can be carrying something painful that nobody else sees. When I say I want my songs to uplift people, that comes from a personal place.”
Looking Ahead: Bringing the Music to the People
With “Love Is Louder” currently dominating the Amazon charts, N1ckatN1ght is ready to step back into the light and share that hard-won uplift with his audience in person. He is currently planning live performances for 2027, with dates and locations to be announced once confirmed.
“I’m excited to bring this music to people in person,” he says of his upcoming return to the stage. “My goal is to create performances where people feel connected, whether they’re singing along to something meaningful or losing themselves in a dance song.”
