Amsterdam Dance Event 2026: 30 Years Celebrated as 2027 Dates Announced
Amsterdam Dance Event has just wrapped up its massive 30th anniversary special and has also confirmed dates for the 2027 conference.
Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has successfully concluded its milestone 30 Years ADE celebration, reaffirming its position as the definitive global platform for electronic music culture, artistic innovation and industry evolution.
Following five days and nights of cross-cultural collaboration, future-focused discussions and performances from nearly 4,000 artists, the organisation has also confirmed the dates for next year’s edition. ADE 2027 will take place from October 20–24, 2027.
This year’s celebration once again transformed Amsterdam into the centre of the global electronic music scene. Across five days, the city hosted an enormous variety of parties, label showcases, special performances and industry experiences, with artists and fans travelling from around the world.
While the biggest names and headline events always attract attention, some of the most memorable moments came from unexpected settings, unique collaborations and smaller gatherings. From packed techno warehouses to intimate artist pop-ups, these were some of the events that stood out across ADE 2026.
Awakenings Wednesday Opening
Lineup: 999999999, Adrián Mills, Fumi & Serafina, NOVAH and Hujus
Date: Wednesday, October 21
Venue: SugarFactory
Awakenings opened the week with bounce techno at full volume, setting the tone for five days of electronic music in Amsterdam. With 999999999 and Hujus getting things started, Fumi and Serafina kept the energy building before Adrián Mills delivered a set that made standing still almost impossible.
The atmosphere extended beyond the dancefloor, with plenty of familiar faces from across the electronic music scene appearing backstage. It was another reminder of Awakenings’ position as one of the most important meeting points during ADE.

DGTL Thursday Opening
Lineup: Benwal, Helena Lauwaert, Lammer & Paige Tomlinson, Olive Anguz, DJ EZ, MPH, Dr Dubplate and Locky
Date: Thursday, October 22
Venue: NDSM Warehouse
DGTL made an immediate impression with its Thursday opening, bringing colour, energy and a packed crowd to the enormous NDSM Warehouse.
Benwal delivered one of the standout performances, while Lammer and Paige Tomlinson made their first-ever back-to-back appearance. DJ EZ, MPH, Dr Dubplate and Locky brought a strong UK influence to the programme.
The production and atmosphere were equally impressive, with DGTL once again demonstrating how to create an event that feels contemporary without relying on short-lived trends.

Hot Meal by Hot Meal Records
Lineup: Bad Boombox, Mischluft, Mija, Ollie Lishman, Janis Zelinski, MRD, lizaliza, Jessie Dolls, Gusted and Dr. G
Date: Thursday, October 22
Venue: Lofi
One of the most dynamic nights of the week came courtesy of Hot Meal Records, which brought its roster to Lofi for a showcase that moved effortlessly between different corners of electronic music.
Bad Boombox delivered a particularly unpredictable performance, moving between drum and bass, ghetto tech and bounce techno while keeping the dancefloor engaged. Mischluft followed with some of his biggest tracks, including ‘Side To Side’ and ‘Call Me Babe’.
Mija and MRD took things into a darker direction during the early morning hours, rounding off a carefully arranged programme that made it difficult to leave before the final set.
The label also extended the experience beyond the club, hosting a pop-up the following day where visitors could receive free tattoo designs.
Mochakk x Bose: Apartment B
Lineup: Mochakk and Nocapz
Date: Thursday, October 22
Venue: Apartment B
Not every memorable ADE experience needs a huge venue or a packed warehouse. Mochakk and Nocapz delivered something considerably more intimate at Apartment B, with a carefully selected group of guests invited into a specially designed apartment space.
Presented with Bose, the event focused on sound, atmosphere and the experience of simply being present. With an open bar serving palomas and passion fruit cocktails, the gathering felt more like spending an evening at someone’s home than attending a conventional music event.
It was a refreshing change of pace during an otherwise hectic week.

Abracadabra by BLOND, Presented by SONA
Lineup: BLOND, Adam Ten, Dangel Twins, Maz and Misha
Date: Friday, October 23
Venue: Westerkerk
Taking place inside Amsterdam’s historic Westerkerk, Abracadabra offered one of the more distinctive settings of ADE 2026.
The church’s architecture gave the event a completely different atmosphere from the city’s warehouses and clubs. Dangel Twins opened proceedings, followed by Adam Ten and BLOND, who brought the night into her own musical territory.
The event also partnered with ByeByePlastic, bringing the conversation around reducing single-use plastic into the event itself.

Chilemúsica: Wine & Electronic Music
Lineup: Elektrompe, Max Johnson LA and Cameron Audio
Date: Friday, October 23
Venue: Andaz
Chilemúsica brought a different kind of electronic music experience to ADE with Sonic Terroir, a format combining curated Chilean electronic music with Chilean wine.
Organised by Chile’s music export body, the concept had previously explored jazz and classical music in Europe before making its electronic music debut during ADE.
With performances from Elektrompe, Max Johnson LA and Cameron Audio, the gathering provided an opportunity for industry professionals to connect in a more relaxed setting, away from the intensity of the dancefloor.

Rob GEE: Punk, Funk & Live – 30 Year Anniversary
Date: Friday, October 23
Venue: Keizersgracht 349
Rob GEE celebrated 30 years of his 1996 classic ‘Ecstasy, You Got What I Need!’ with a special anniversary event during ADE.
The occasion also marked the launch of a purple vinyl repress, released through Music On Vinyl. Fans had the opportunity to meet Rob in person and pick up personalised, autographed copies, with Holli Curtis joining as a special guest.
The crowd brought together longtime fans and a younger generation, highlighting the lasting influence of a track that has remained part of electronic music culture for three decades.

Joseph Capriati Presents Metamorfosi
Lineup: AAT, Simon Kidzoo, The Martinez Brothers, Joseph Capriati and Cloonee
Date: Friday, October 23
Venue: SugarFactory, Halfweg
Joseph Capriati brought his Metamorfosi concept to Awakenings ADE for a sold-out Friday at SugarFactory.
AAT and Simon Kidzoo opened the event before The Martinez Brothers took over. Capriati then stepped up for his solo performance at 18:30, eventually returning to close the night back-to-back with Cloonee.
A strict no-phone policy helped keep the focus firmly on the music, while the production and atmosphere gave the showcase a distinct identity. Metamorfosi described the collaboration with Awakenings as one built to last.
Loveland: CamelPhat Experience
Lineup: CamelPhat, Adam Ten, Hot Since 82, Max Styler, Volkoder and Niiomi
Date: Saturday, October 24
Venue: Theater Amsterdam
Despite some of the week’s worst weather outside, Loveland delivered a standout indoor experience at Theater Amsterdam.
CamelPhat travelled directly from an earlier performance at London’s Ironworks to headline the event. Rather than sticking exclusively to their familiar melodic sound, the duo took a harder and faster approach, moving closer to the territory explored by artists such as Max Styler and Adam Ten.
Max Styler was another major highlight, while Volkoder returned to the stage to join CamelPhat for ‘Unique Moment’, their July collaboration released on When Stars Align.
Adam Ten closed the night with his signature melodic house and indie dance sound, bringing the event to a different conclusion from where it began.
Mystic Garden x Dockyard
Lineup highlights: Yanamaste, Ely Oaks, Dax J, DJ Heartstring, Partyboi69, Supergloss and Helena Lauwaert
Date: Saturday, October 24
Venue: Havenpark
Mystic Garden and Dockyard combined forces at Havenpark, bringing five stages and two contrasting festival experiences together under one ticket.
Visitors could move between Mystic Garden’s colourful atmosphere and the heavier sounds of Dockyard, with the lineup spanning a broad range of electronic music.
The weather presented a challenge, particularly when moving between the covered stages, but the performances made the effort worthwhile. Yanamaste was among the highlights, while Ely Oaks delivered a memorable closing moment with a performer covered in mirror tiles dancing above the screen.
Basic-Fit x ADE: Feel Good Club and ADE Lab On Track
Date: Saturday, October 24
Venue: Basic-Fit Stadhouderskade
Basic-Fit brought music and movement together with two activations during ADE, turning its Stadhouderskade club into an unconventional event space.
The first edition of Feel Good Club featured CARISTA alongside LYLO, welcoming more than 250 participants for an experience combining music, fitness and community.
Later, eight emerging DJs from ADE Lab On Track performed live sets between 16:00 and midnight while members worked out. The initiative provided rising talent with an opportunity to reach an entirely different audience.
Verknipt ADE Special
Lineup: Angerfist B2B KARAH, Ben Techy B2B SANTØS, MANDY B2B Negitiv, Divasi, Hardsok, Onlynumbers and Trym
Date: Saturday, October 24
Venue: AFAS Live
Verknipt brought its signature hard techno sound to AFAS Live for one of its biggest shows of the year.
Thousands of ravers packed the venue from the afternoon onwards, with an impressive production setup and laser displays helping create one of the weekend’s most intense experiences.
Angerfist B2B KARAH delivered a particularly memorable performance, combining nostalgia, new music and hard techno classics for a crowd that was fully locked into the experience.
Awakenings Sunday Sessions & Prophecy by Prospa
Lineup: DJ Gigola B2B Pegassi, Franky Rizardo, Prospa, CVNTS, Southstar, Helena Lauwaert, Job de Jong, Tommy Phillips, Isabella and Traumer
Date: Sunday, October 25
Venue: SugarFactory
Awakenings brought the week to a close with its Sunday Sessions and Prophecy by Prospa, delivering another impressive combination of music and production at SugarFactory.
The industrial stage design provided the backdrop for a series of standout performances, with DJ Gigola B2B Pegassi helping close the day session before Prospa took over.
One of the most memorable production moments came during Prospa’s performance, when giant hands rose out of the stage setup. Combined with the venue’s atmosphere and Awakenings’ attention to hospitality, it made for a fitting conclusion to the week.

ADE 2026: More Than Just the Music
Across five days, Amsterdam Dance Event once again demonstrated why it remains one of the most important gatherings in electronic music.
From the scale of Awakenings and Verknipt to the more intimate experiences hosted by Mochakk, Bose and Chilemúsica, the week offered something for almost every corner of the scene.
The biggest moments may have happened on the dancefloors, but the collaborations, creative concepts and unexpected settings were just as important. As another edition came to a close, ADE 2026 left Amsterdam with plenty of memories — and plenty of reasons to return next year.
