Signed by Musical Freedom Records, Tiësto’s sub-label at Spinnin’ Records, “Move Your Body” has amassed over 12 million plays on Spotify in just a few weeks of the release date, and even before that, the song was already a proven hit. Label boss Tiësto played the track for the first time for a packed Creamfields and drove the crowd crazy.
And the reason for this song to become this wild hit that it is today is Öwnboss, the Brazilain is rising astronomically in the global scene with over 3.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Since the release of “Move Your Body”, his career got so much momentum that he was named by Tomorrowland as “One of the 20 of 2022”, a very exclusive list that selects only the hottest artists around.
Sevek on the other hand is a younger Brazilian promise, that certainly has the gut-feel necessary to create hit anthems just like what he did with Ownboss on “Move Your Body”.
In addition to Tiësto, “Move Your Body” has received support from stellar names like Martin Garrix, Timmy Trumpet, Armin Van Buuren, Ofenbach, Benny Benassi, Morten, Showtek, and DJs From Mars to name a few. It’s hard to point out the exact reason why “Move Your Body” became such a phenomenon, but one of the reasons for sure is the mass appeal to the younger audience from TikTok. The song currently has over 42 thousand videos and growing every day.
Öwnboss and Sevek were able to create a song that is not only great to be listened to on the streaming platforms, and an earth-shattering anthem on the clubs and festivals, but is also a wonderful song to create content with.
