Quickdrop Unleash Banging Remix Of ‘Walking On Air’ By POINT BLVNK On PYRO Records!
When DJ/producer Dennis Horstmann and his friend Oliver West started to produce electronic music with around 128 BPM under their DJ-duo name Point Blank back in 2009, nobody ever heard of a new genre called “EDM”. Basically not knowing people later would call their music exactly this, the two Hamburg-based DJs produced their first official single ‘Walking On Air’ back in 2010. The track was then released on the iconic label Ministry Of Sound in 2011 and remained a “secret weapon” for artists like Tiësto.
11 years later, Swedish artist Quickdrop delivers a sick harder uptempo remix of POINT BLVNK‘s (now a solo artist) ‘Walking On Air’, twisting the vibe and lead melody into a whole different track. The remix is now available via POINT BLVNK‘s very own imprint PYRO Records, distributed by Kontor New Media.
Based out of Hamburg, the 6’7“ guy launched PYRO Records in 2012 and has toured as a DJ for more than 15 years, playing festivals such as Parookaville in Germany. Driven by his passion for music and culture, he’s done everything from hosting Sony Music’s Clubsounds TV and being a playlist-curator of some of the biggest festivals after releasing tracks and remixes earlier with/for legends such as Azzido Da Bass and Joachim Garraud.
POINT BLVNK’s music has been released on labels such as Tommie Sunshine‘s Brooklyn Fire, the EDX label Sirup, Deorro‘s Panda Funk, 2-Dutch, and others, and has been heard in DJ-sets of world-renown artists such as David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Alan Walker, Don Diablo, Tiësto, Afrojack, and Timmy Trumpet, just to name a few.

The Australian producer, also known as Josh Sytema, has developed a sound connected to hypertrap, dubstep, and Y2K-influenced bass music, with one of his flips reaching Coachella 2026 before he had released an original track. Now heading into its 12th edition, the festival’s latest announcement brings in Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, DJ Snake, AFROJACK, and Subtronics, joining a Phase 1 lineup that already included Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix, FISHER, John Summit, and Amelie Lens. The update gives the 2026 edition a much fuller look across the Ultra Main Stage and RESISTANCE, while keeping more names saved for the next announcement.

Subtronics Stands Out Among Returning Ultra Europe Regulars
While several Phase 2 additions are familiar names for Ultra Europe, Subtronics still gives the 2026 announcement one of its more interesting talking points. He played Ultra Europe 2024, appearing on the same day as AFROJACK and DJ Snake, so his 2026 booking is not a debut. What makes it worth noting is the context around the booking. Ultra Europe has long been associated with mainstage EDM, house, techno, and its RESISTANCE programming, while large-scale bass bookings have not been as constant in the festival’s Croatia lineup. Bringing Subtronics back after 2024 keeps that part of the lineup visible and gives the July weekend a different pull next to the festival’s more established returning names.
For many of the other additions, Ultra Europe 2026 reads as a return to artists with a longer history in Split. With Phase 2 now out, Ultra Europe 2026 has a much clearer outline, but the lineup is still not complete.
