Rain Radio Return With Brand New Single ‘Lighters Up’!

Rain Radio have arrived back on the scene, armed with their brand new floor-filler ‘Lighters Up’, released on 17th February. Sampling Lil’ Kim, the gritty dance track delivers pulsating beats and an unwavering energy, as Rain Radio cleverly put a fresh spin on a nostalgic classic. A wild visualiser will be launching alongside the track, filmed at Rain Radio’s raucous UK tour of Pryzm student venues – check it out here. Adding further anticipation to the single drop, the mysterious collective performed at a crazy house party in Manchester on Saturday 11th Feb with an electrifying surprise set.

The release follows their 2022 Nicole Scherzinger sample ‘He Goes Down’, which saw sees Rain Radio tap into a raw, vocal-driven club with a vibrant slap house bassline. 2022 also saw the release of ‘079’ featuring Block Notice, a club smash that has racked up over 10 million Spotify streams.

Rain Radio remains an unknown collective of producers and DJs with no explanation behind their output. The mysterious music-making entity burst onto the scene in 2021 with ‘Talk About’, a viral smash with Irish breakout talent DJ Craig Gorman that peaked at #9 in the UK Top 20, and has also racked up over 100 million Spotify streams.

Showing no signs of stopping, the anonymous Rain Radio have started the year strong.
