Released 13 Years Ago: Swedish House Mafia – Miami 2 Ibiza

Following on from the release of their first , ‘One’, Swedish House Mafia would team up with Tinie Tempah to deliver ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’. Released on the 4th of October, 2010, the song elevated the trio as pioneers of progressive house music as it featured their signature production style and memorable vocals that resonated with fans worldwide.

‘Miami 2 Ibiza’ found a place in Tinie Tempah‘s debut album, ‘Disc-Overy,’ and quickly climbed to the #4 spot in the UK charts. Its infectious beats and anthemic melodies ensured its dominance in clubs and festivals, solidifying Swedish House Mafia‘s reputation as musical innovators.

The trio, known for hits like ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ and ‘Save The World,’ took a hiatus in 2013 after a farewell tour that sold over one million tickets. A decade later, they made a triumphant return, pushing musical boundaries with singles like ‘Lifetime’ featuring Ty Dolla $ign and 070 Shake, and ‘It Gets Better.’ Their collaboration ‘Moth To A Flame’ with The Weeknd garnered 300 million streams, charted in the top 10 on the Billboard Global Chart, and reached the top 20 on Top 40 radio.

Swedish House Mafia‘s highly anticipated album, ‘Paradise Again,’ received critical acclaim. They headlined Coachella with The Weeknd and embarked on a global tour, thrilling audiences worldwide. Entering a new era, the trio have recently drop singles ‘Ray Of Solar’ and ‘See The Light’, with hints of a new album on the horizon.
