Hardwell continued to dominate the dance music landscape in 2016 after the sensational ‘No Holding Back’ with Craig David caused seismic shifts in the scene. Next up on his hit list was the lethal new dancefloor cut ‘Going Crazy’ with Dutch titans Blasterjaxx, further proving his ability to collaborate with some of the most diverse and forward-thinking artists around the globe. Ever since its premiere at Ultra Music Festival 2015, ‘Going Crazy’ had been bubbling with anticipation as one of the year’s biggest dancefloor surprises. Merging Blasterjaxx‘s much revered big room sound with Hardwell‘s unique talent and magic touch to deliver consistently evolving, dancefloor-ready set pieces, the track comprises of major striking vocals and devastatingly hot drum progressions, all ready and waiting for some of the biggest venues across the planet.
A superstar Dutch DJ who helped shape the EDM explosion of 2012-2013, Robbert van de Corput became Hardwell when he began DJ’ing at the age of 13. Watching the massive dance parties broadcast on MTV encouraged the teen to learn how to mix, and he soon became interested in remixing and working on his own productions.
In the space of just a few years, Blasterjaxx have ascended the journey from relatively unknown producers to heroes of the current scene in astounding fashion. With a none-more-energetic sound that’s packed to the brim with huge riffs, enormous builds, killer drops and infectious melody, they have time and time again proved themselves to be amongst the most exciting producers and DJs in the EDM scene.
