Los Angeles-based producer Ronnie Jake is an up-and-coming producer with years of experience in the dance music scene. By first taking the reigns in the club scene in Hawaii, he got a feel for the direction of his brand and style by slamming dance floors with tech house music in after-hours clubs. After moving to LA in 2018, Ronnie attended Icon Collective Production School in Burbank, CA to master his craft and hone in on his skills. After graduating in early 2020, he hit the ground running and started developing his own sound. He has received traction from many labels and recently released his first track ‘Break it Down’ on the Chicago-based label Phunk Junk Records. He describes his sound as being a “mixture between Dirtybird and Toolroom style tech-house”.
Having kicked off the year with ‘Drogas’, Ronnie Jake had a ton of momentum behind himself and he is keeping it building with his new one ‘Rollin Stone’. Showing his creativity and diversity within the studio, Ronnie Jake takes his tech-house style and incorporates some soulful and groovy house tones into the mix which results in a wonderful piece of house music. A funky and tempo-setting bassline is ever-present and when combined with the memorable vocal sample and rhythmic samples, the result is out of this world and is sure to get you moving no matter where or when you may be listening.
