Shambhala 2025 transformed the Salmo River Ranch into a living village of music, magic, and connection, where every beat was felt.

Shambhala 2025 transformed the Salmo River Ranch into a four-day sanctuary of sound, spirit, and connection. It was a weekend alive with community, sonic energy, natural beauty, and moments of pure spontaneity. At Shambhala, you didn’t just attend—you became part of the farm’s pulse.

VIBES & COMMUNITY

Shambhala’s essence still lies in its soul—a festival built around people, not branding or corporate layers. The energy was unmistakable: strangers hugged like family, gifting was genuine, and the river floated with collective joy. It remained proudly dry, with an ethos of care guiding every step.

Even down to the totems, the crowd’s playful identity shone bright—opt for one, and you’d find Peter Griffin, check-engine signs, jellyfish, or even a coat-rack-built structure standing tall so coats could chill while you danced.

HIGHLIGHT MOMENTS

  • A Rave Runway Extravaganza on AMP—Frieda Whales fronting a fashion parade of fringe, glitter, feathers, and radical self-expression.
  • Grilled-cheese heroes turning 5 AM Pagoda into a rebellion of cheesy carbs, buttered edges, and pure late-night love.
  • Father Son moments: The Gaff brought his son to Fractal, blending legacy, music, and the family ethos of the festival.

PRODUCTION & SITE MAGIC

This isn’t about flashy screens or big-brand setups. Shambhala’s charm is in its embedded storytelling: six permanent, evolving stages woven into forest, field, and riverbank.

  • The Grove received a major facelift this year, with significant production upgrades that elevated its immersive visuals and sound to new heights—perfectly complementing the experimental, boundary-pushing sets it hosted.
  • The Rabbit Hole secret stage also leveled up, surprising festival-goers with hidden production flourishes and intimate sonic journeys.
  • Across the farm, PK Sound boosted their systems by 10–15%, and lasers at Pagoda cut through the Salmo dust in mesmerizing fashion.

MUSIC & RITUALS

With six uniquely curated stages, Shambhala 2025 bristled with sonic diversity. Some of the most unforgettable sets included:

  • Destructo brought his iconic party-starting style to the floor.
  • Father Son, Sivz, and T3MP3R all brought heat to the Pagoda, keeping the crowd locked in from sundown to sunrise.

Village Stage

  • Channel Tres fused house, rap, and charisma in one of the most stylish sets of the weekend.
  • Dimond Saints bathed the forest in lush, downtempo bass vibes.
  • Major League DJz brought amapiano to the Grove, with soulful keys and rolling percussion that gave the stage a global heartbeat.

  • Bob Moses brought deep, melodic house and live instrumentation to the riverbank, blending moody vocals with hypnotic beats for one of the weekend’s most captivating performances.
  • Glass Beams was the festival’s riverside revelation—hypnotic, world-inspired grooves carried over the water in what felt like a shared meditation at sunset.

GORDO and Reinier Zonneveld posing together as they release their new single 'Loco Loco' for New EDM Friday Feb 13.

New EDM Friday Feb 13 is back and its stacked with electronic music by GORDO x Reinier Zonneveld, Skrillex, John Summit, Fred again.., and more.

Festival season hasn’t kicked off but February is officially heating up with all this new music. This week we see a mysterious ID finally revealed, a legendary London-meets-Punjab collaboration, and a deep dive into the seductive sounds of Stockholm and Chicago. Here is your essential guide to this week’s New EDM Friday.

GORDO x Reinier Zonneveld – Loco Loco

Talking about the “summer track of 2026” in February might sound a little loco, but not when a track like this detonates. ‘Loco Loco’ is a high-voltage hybrid where GORDO’s house grooves meet Reinier Zonneveld’s relentless techno drive. The track’s origin is as wild as its sound; it began as a mysterious ID GORDO found in his inbox and played to viral crowd reactions before anyone knew it was sent by Reinier himself. Laced with an 80s synth-pop vibe and shifting between Spanish and English vocals, this anthem is already a favorite for artists like Meduza and Vintage Culture.

Ahadadream, Skrillex & Raf Saperra – Bass Dhol

London-based artist Ahadadream delivers the culmination of his percussive journey with ‘Bass Dhol’, featuring global icon Skrillex and Raf Saperra. The track fuses the unmistakable power of Punjabi dhol rhythms with driving, propulsive electronic beats. Drawing from his Pakistani roots and the London underground energy, Ahadadream creates a party-fueled soundscape that is currently driving South Asian culture to the forefront of the UK scene.

John Summit & LAVINIA – SHADOWS

Acclaimed producer John Summit returns with ‘SHADOWS’, the seductive second single from his highly anticipated album, ‘CTRL ESCAPE’ album arriving April 15. Featuring striking vocals from LAVINIA, the track pairs tech-house flourishes with layered synths to create a sense of intimate mystery. As Summit prepares for his landmark [UNVRS] Ibiza residency and a closing set at Ultra Miami, ‘SHADOWS’ showcases the communal euphoria and genre-blurring depth that defines his new era.

GRiZ & Levity – Pop Off

One of the most requested IDs in bass music has finally arrived. ‘Pop Off’ is the result of Chicago-bred trio Levity linking up with funk-bass powerhouse GRiZ. The track has been a staple of Levity’s live sets, famously soundtracking their 360° laser ship production. Fusing hip-hop energy, funk-fueled beats, and face-melting bass, the collab officially debuted live during a surprise appearance by GRiZ at Levity‘s sold-out Wintrust Arena show.

Kasbo – All This Time

Marking a refined evolution of his signature sound, Swedish producer Kasbo returns with ‘All This Time’ via Lane 8’s This Never Happened. Unfolding with patience and restraint, the track favors introspective feeling over force. Reconnecting with his roots in Stockholm, Kasbo delivers a quietly powerful record designed for late-night drives and emotional clarity, marking a more candid and personal chapter in his prolific career.

Virtual Riot & Blanke ft. Dia Frampton – Best of Me

Two of bass music’s most forward-thinking producers, Virtual Riot and Blanke, unite on ‘Best of Me’, a luminous, emotionally driven new single featuring acclaimed vocalist Dia Frampton. Marking a melodic departure from their heavier catalogues, the track finds both artists stepping outside rigid BPM frameworks in favor of warmth, restraint, and songwriting-led expression.

Taking place August 7–9, 2026 at Haus Hohenbusch near Düsseldorf, Germany, the festival celebrates two major milestones this year. Notably, the event marks 10 Years of HARDSIZE and 15 Years of TAPUYA.

Electrisize Festival 2026 Lineup Expansion

The latest additions to Electrisize Festival 2026 include hardstyle legend Coone, German breakout act OSWALD, hard-techno rising star Onlynumbers, and raw hardstyle duo Outsiders. Meanwhile, these new artists join previously announced headliners including Alle Farben, Brennan Heart, Showtek, Ran-D, Sickmode, and Eko Fresh.
