Tiësto Brings Back ‘In Search Of Sunrise’ To Close EDC Las Vegas

Tiësto has journeyed through many different genres over the years with one of the eras that fans look back on most fondly being the days of trance Tiësto. Now fans have been given hope of a return to trance from the legendary Dutch DJ as he has announced that he will be performing an ‘In Search of Sunrise’ set at EDC Las Vegas.

‘In Search of Sunrise’ first appeared in 1999 as a compilation CD of the best trance tracks, mixed by Tiësto, and released on SongBird which was a subdivision of Black Hole Recordings. Over the following 11 years he mixed on seven ‘In Search of Sunrise’ compilations featuring his own songs along with music from many other prodigious artists. In 2010 his involvement in the making of these compilations ended following his split from Black Hole Recordings.

Now 15 years on from this split it looks like we’ll be getting a return to trance from him as he announces his closing set on the Sunday at EDC Las Vegas will be an ‘In Search of Sunrise’ set. At the Kinetic Fields Stage from 4:13AM while the sun comes up Tiësto will be flashing back to 1999 as he brings a tirade of trance to EDC likely featuring new bangers and of course his unforgettable classics. As to whether this could also be teasing new trance music from Tiësto nothings set in stone, but there’s always a chance.
