Tropix And Kilo Team Up For Massive Original Single ‘Highway’!

Known for their innate remixing ability, after releasing 5 official remixes in the past 2 months, the New York/Chicago duo Tropix have taken their evolution to heart, teaming up with good time friend Kilo and fellow east coast vocalist Ian Matthew for their summertime single ‘Highway’. Following the successful releases, Tropix has brought their creative remixing power right into their original productions, as they utilize their groove-laden sound and piano rolls throughout the track. Coming off multiple DJ appearances in Miami, Philly, and NY among his own original releases, Kilo, stays hot using his strength in beat-making adding his flavor with his unique drum and snare patterns and catchy melodies.

This track couldn’t be where it was without a strong vocal from Ian Matthew who has garnered support from Spotify‘s New Music Friday playlists on recent originals from the past. His exceptional flow of his vocals from his background in both pop and rap builds the appropriate energy fora ride-a-long track that is catchy and easy to sing-along. This singles swelling top-line and melodic accent play off each other as stunningly as any hit tune should.
