Ultra Music Festival Moves Back To Bayfront For 2020 Edition!

For the 2019 edition, Ultra Music Festival moved to Virginia Key Beach Park and Miami Marine Stadium, after being blocked from using Bayfront Park due to concerns over the impact of the festival on downtown residents. This move did not come without it’s hiccups with many festival goers left stranded on the island due to a lack of coach transport back to the main part of Miami. The festival worked on these problems and fixed them before the festival concluded but for future events it seemed the problems could not be fixed indefinitely. This caused Ultra to search for a new location in South Florida.

However, a Miami council meeting was held which included talks for Ultra Music Festival to return to the iconic location of Bayfront Park. The council voted in favor of the return and now Ultra Music Festival has it’s home for the upcoming years. Agreed by both the Miami council and Ultra was a restriction of the sound level limited to 102 dB and bass levels & lighting effects moderated to not disrupt residents. It is yet to be seen how these restrictions will effect the festival overall but we look forward to welcoming Ultra Music Festival back to the Bayfront Park in 2020.
