After what appeared to be a rough first day at their new location, Ultra Music Festival seemed to right every wrong for the 2019 edition leaving the majority of attendees satisfied. As one of the biggest music festivals in the world, the expectations for Ultra to host an incredible weekend full of amazing acts is always high. With these expectations comes great pressure and although there was supposed to be a meeting on Thursday with the Miami City Council, Ultra Music Festival have announced that they have terminated their City of Miami license and will be moving to a new location.
With this announcement comes an end to their Miami journey that had begun in 1999. In their announcement they confirmed that they are finalizing a new location for the 2020 edition which will take place in Southern Florida. After the 2019 edition of Ultra Music Festival, over 20,000 fans took part in a survey which made it clear that the location did not live up to their high standards which apparently Ultra have agreed with.
