Zedd Announces Long-Awaited Album at EDC After 9-Year Hiatus

In an electrifying moment that took fans by surprise, Grammy-winning DJ and producer Zedd announced the release of his highly anticipated new album “Telos” at the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) in Las Vegas. This upcoming album marks his first major release in nine years, following the critically acclaimed “True Colors” in 2015.

Zedd, born Anton Zaslavski, broke the news during his headlining set on the main stage at EDC, one of the largest electronic dance music festivals in the world. Amidst an amazing display of pyrotechnics and laser lights, he paused his set to address the audience directly with the news of his new project.

Since the release of “True Colors,” Zedd has remained a dominant force in the EDM scene, producing chart-topping singles and collaborating with some of the biggest names in music, including Katy Perry, Alessia Cara, and Maren Morris. His signature blend of melodic house, electro-pop, and intricate production has earned him a global fanbase and numerous accolades.

“It’s been almost 10 years since my last album came out.” The DJ stated. “I knew for my next one I needed to allocate enough time to properly focus and craft something exceptional that lives up to my standards. On Telos, I had the honor of working with some of my musical heroes, best friends, and favorite new artists. I can confidently say that I have made my best album yet.”

Zedd’s new album is expected to drop on August 30, 2024. As the world prepares for what promises to be a groundbreaking release, one thing is clear: Zedd is back, and he’s ready to redefine the sound of electronic music once again.
